Diarmuid Reil Architects

We employed Diarmuid Reil as architect and project manager on our new house at Ballynearla, Kilmacow, Co Kilkenny. Our brief was to design a modern, sustainable family home. Diarmuid's design exceeded our expectations by a huge margin. 5 years later and it still brings a smile to my face when I arrive home. Diarmuid managed to not only deliver an interesting and creative design, he was able to do so within our relatively modest budget. Diarmuid was always accessible to us throughout the process to offer support and advice. His attention to detail was such that we only had to worry about the nice aspects of the build such as deciding on furniture, while we were assured that the technical aspects were being delivered to spec. The whole experience was very rewarding and stress free in large part due to the work of Diarmuid and his team. While I expect the home to remain ours for life, I will have no hesitation in hiring Diarmiud again should the opportunity arise.

During our whole project from the initial consultation and design meetings, through planning delays and the reality of budgeting, tender and construction decisions, Diarmuid proved to be a charasmatic, creative, competent and compassionate advisor and project manager.
