“Michael Menn designed and constructed with the help of his experienced pool of subcontractors the kitchen of my dreams in an older home that I love for both its tradition and its memories. It is a pleasure for me to come down in the morning to a space so much in keeping with the style of our home and offering me at the same time all that is in modo contemporary for the our time. Michael Menn is a gentleman who honors his word amd his contractural agreements. He was always available to me and responded promptly to any and all concerns or questions that I may have had. Michael is in addition someone with whom one could easily make a lasting friendship. I would not hesitiate for a minute to recommend him to others nor to contact him for any future projects that I had in mind.”

Paul was great to work with from every facet - creative and thoughtful, with a broad and deep knowledge of construction. “My husband and I had a great experience with JAG. Before we moved out of our old house, Ms. Jaffe and her assistant Ms. Lindsey visited, looked around, measured our furniture and discussed what we liked and didn't like about the house. They took copious notes and very obviously incorporated the information into the plans for our new house. We told them a few things - we wanted it to be contemporary, have a southeast facing kitchen and a wine room, and listed the other rooms we wanted. They built on this to create a masterpiece that we love coming home to every day! Ms. Jaffe is very creative and has a keen eye for decorating. Ms. Lindsey has every detail on paper and in her head, so that there were almost no surprises while the house was being built. Ms. Jaffe put in a lot of beautiful architectural features that we would not have imagined, such as a skylight and multi-surfaced walls, guided us when our ideas were bad, and followed our wishes when our tastes differed from hers. Ms. Lindsey made sure that all the details were perfect, such as making sure that the shelves behind our cabinet-door mounted spice racks are shorter than the other shelves, so the doors can close with the racks on them. They also helped with interior design, with the same attention to detail. JAG also has a great office staff that was able to keep us updated when Ms. Jaffe and Ms. Lindsey were not immediately available. We think this firm's fees are probably higher than average, but worth it. All in all, a very positive experience.”

“Architectural design of our home. He designed the home, all the layout and configuration and did all the construction drawings. He put our desires into focus and into the design of our home. Outstanding ability to translate our concepts into structure and to implement the design concept into an actual structure that meets all tests. Always available to address any construction design or implementation issues. Works conceptually and practically with the entire build team, designer, builder and all contractors to implement all features without negatively affecting the resultant design and features. The house was under construction for three years. He visited the house on his own at least monthly; spoke to us or met us regularly and met with our builder and interior designer regularly all to insure that it was being built properly.”
