“We worked with Leaf Design Associates at the suggestion of our builder. The entire experience was a pleasure. We were very clear about what we wanted and Richard was able to translate our wish list into two different sets of drawings and a third suggesting things we had not thought of and a re-design of our kitchen. In the end, we mixed and matched to come up with a final set of plans, including a new kitchen and are thrilled that we did. This was a redesign/addition to a historic home. Richard worked upfront with our builder and excavator to make sure the design worked within the restrictions set by the Historical Commission. The plans were approved by the Commission on first pass and they noted how pleased they were that the addition looked like it belonged on the original house. Overall, an excellent experience and we highly recommend Leaf Design Associates.”

John Lodge (working closely with Nick Beasley from Adams Beasley contractors) helped us to create an open, modern kitchen and family room (and an additional room in the basement) that have enough of a traditional style that it feels like it fits right in with the old house. I'm not much of a cook but now I want to cook. And all of my friends who are great cooks have kitchen envy! In fact we now spend most of our time in our kitchen/dining room; we used to go in there only when we needed to eat. John worked closely with us to come up with creative solutions for more usable and beautiful space. He worked collaboratively throughout with us, the contractor, and the sub-contractors. He listened to what we wanted and offered options for how to implement our visions. He is a joy to work with. And that's not an easy feat during/after a year long renovation project!”

“Michael was a joy to work with for our remodeling project. He was patient, responsive, and highly collaborative throughout the whole process. His creativity and design acumen helped us to solve some complex layout problems, and to connect the indoors and outdoors in an original and impressive way. In addition to the overall plan, he also designed smaller components that needed his knowledge and attention to detail, including a lighting scheme, shelving system, and custom outdoor furniture. He helped us to research unfamiliar building materials, and provided ample design ideas that we shared using an online file folder.
