Their professional expertise coupled with years of practical experience ensured the house not only met our family's needs but was built on time and within budget. By carefully assessing the building site Arcon ensured the house afforded great lake views from every room while minimizing the need to remove mature hardwood trees that I so love. They coupled the site plan with wonderful architectural features like 3 foot overhangs to minimize afternoon sun and allow the windows to stay open even during the rain ! In addition the cantilevered deck affords a sense of "floating over the lake" while maximizing the views from the lower level rooms. Oh .. and did I mention the screen porch and stone fireplace, the barrel vaulted front entry, the beams and massive stone fireplace in the great room .. and and and ! They just did a great job for us !”

“We came to Brent with some pretty specific ideas but no understanding of how to put it all together to make a house! Brent was patient and guided us through the project and along with his associate James, helped bring our vision to reality. I'm not very good at envisioning a 3-dimensional project such as a house but Brent and James were able to create computer plans where we could remove walls, walk through rooms and alter roofing. He also very expertly guided our project through the historic review process and managed to get approval while we were in the midst of selling our home in PA and weren't really able to participate. His sense of humor and ability to work with our builder and the Historic Resources Commission has resulted in an almost-finished beautiful home!”
