“We met with Ileana to discuss possible renovation ideas to our 1960s house to open up the space and to re-think our upstairs bathrooms. She designed the project in a way that allowed us to consider the two pieces (upstairs and downstairs) both separately and together. We originally thought we would focus on the upstairs initially, but we were so happy with the redesigned first floor that we ended up deciding to tackle this project first. We contracted with a local company to do the work, and they have had no problems following Ileana's architectural drawings.”

“I have been working with Donald Lococo Architects for the past two years on a large residential project in Alexandria, Virginia. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Donald and his staff. The house is a fabulous hybrid: traditional front facade contrasted with a thoroughly modern section in the back. The house is nearing completion...seeing this space come together - full of glass, light and dramatic open spaces - has been wonderful to watch. Five star design...five star firm!”

In short, the spaces and buildings are livable, functional, breathing spaces that are simply exiting and fun to be in. “Kube Architecture designed a new rear to my 19th Century row house. You can look it up on Houzz where it was featured. We loved working with Rich and Janet and their staff. They are full of good ideas, and we got the fun, edgy, and functional space we always wanted, still respecting the bones of the old house and its quirks. Kube is responsive, creative, clever, thoughtful, and always understanding of client needs, not just design imperatives. Moreover, they are so great to work with, they really listen and care about how you live in your space. They use the best modern materials, and like to experiment. They are especially known for their handling of light and color. Modern isn't so serious or cold when Kube designs it! I can't wait to hire them again.”
