When we first met Michelle we had no idea of the how, what and where on the journey of house renovation and extension, what we did have was a vision for the form and function of our home with defined and usable spaces to meet our families needs now and into the future, while at the same time keen to avoid the simple square box extension to the rear. Michelle lead us through budget expectations, concept design, detailed design, planning, contractor bidding and appointment, through to construction, snagging and completion. As to be expected with any project in your own home there are emotional ups and downs however with Michelle there to help navigate the process, the inevitable decisions on scope and budget are all that much easier to make while maintaining your ultimate project goals. Michelle delivered on our initial asks and more with a unique home, with spaces that function wonderfully and even better than we had dreamed of for the many years before. Michelle brings to the table a wealth of experience that allowed us to take a leap of faith on a number of items but i will call out our kitchen, that has exceeded our expectations of both form and function and is now the envy of friends and family, however admittedly was not remotely in line with our pre-project thoughts. The finish is of a very high quality, due in part to Michelles high and exacting standards. When it came to our decisions around finishes and colours, Michelle was along for the entire journey and encouraged decisions we would never have been brave enough to make on our own and are now so happy with in our own unique home. Last but not least, thanks to Michelle we also now have a warm and cosy 1960's home that is at a level of cosyness we never imagined. MHF Architects were hired as our architects and project managers for a single storey wrap-around extension to our family home in Dublin. Their expert approach to all aspects of the build meant that the project was finished on time, on spec and on budget. Their attention to detail and their ability to see the bigger picture were outstanding.

We contracted MHF Architects for designing and project managing an extension to our house. We found them to be a perfect match, at the start they listened carefully to what we wanted and created a design to exactly fit in with our life style and requirements. Michelle designed a complete downstairs renovation and extension of our home. This project required planning permission.
