John at zen door was fantastic! He restored some old shoji doors that we already had and built a new pocket door for us. His prices were very reasonable and he was extremely attentive to our project. Definitely would recommend him to everyone!

I asked John to make a big Shoji door to hide an ugly wall in our house. He listened to every detail and need of our's and came up with a beautiful door and met all his deadlines and was very communicative throughout the process. Everything turned out beautiful. Very happy and 100% recommend!

I had closet doors with 2 side panels that don't move made. It's beautiful! I'm very happy with the beauty of the design.

John did four closet doors (double wide) as shoji screen doors for me. The house is almost 100 years old so nothing is at right angles any longer. He did a great job fitting things into the (skew) openings of the closets. The execution is very high quality and we love the result.

When our shoji door arrived the Zen Door was every bit as beautiful as we hoped it would be. The two men placed it meticulously in the not-so-square space and it fit and moved perfectly. We could tell they took pride in their work and the custom product. Since we loved the new look in our entrance, we ordered a larger set for our living space and are happy with it as well. If a shoji door would be a nice addition to your home, I recommend you call John at Zen Door.

Great attention to detail! Arrived exactly on schedule. Installation took a little longer than expected but was done properly. Lots of compliments!

Commented: Pocket door sounds like a freight train. How to fix?Yes, I did it to a pocket door in 2021. It was a bicycle innertube which i cut some little loops out of. Now it was extremely hard and a matter of significant dexterity to get the loops to fit around ...
