Yeo Design

We are a high-end furniture manufacturer and project management company. We design, make and fit absolute top-notch interiors for luxury living. YEO is James Yeo and Adam Hodgson. James heads up our London studio in Ladbroke Grove while Adam leads the Bude studio in Cornwall. Our 25,000 sq ft production workshop, where we make everything, is nearby in North Devon. After completing a five-year apprenticeship in fine furniture making, James founded his first business in Cornwall in 2007 and headed up country to London. Adam started out in construction before moving into cabinet making. He founded his Cornwall design business in 2009. In 2017, Adam joined James as business partner of James Yeo Cabinet Makers Ltd and then created YEO. Behind James and Adam are an industrious team of master craftspeople, award-winning designers, project managers, installation managers, estimators and technical draughtsmen. We take care of all fitted furniture ourselves, that’s our thing, but we also work with architects, interior designers and construction professionals. Whether it's one room, a whole house or a multi-property project, we'll manage the whole process for you. We’re like all the other top tier, designer-magazine-featured, ‘innovative’ living space companies out there. But we’re more. We‘ll give you what’s missing from other design studios. We’re as good at our craft as any out there, but we come with an edge. That’s because we’re from Cornwall, where the north Atlantic swell and gales shape more than just the cliffs. And they take some shaping. So did we. So with us, you’ll get a bit of the wild thrown in. We’ll add it to your home so you can sit on it, open doors to it, eat on it, make spontaneous love against it (or to it, it’s your cutlery drawer), invite friends and enemies around to drool over it, rock out in it. Our job is to polish up your whole house so, when you walk in to any room, it makes you stop, say ‘wow’ and then dive in and use it like you own it. Because, hopefully, you do. So challenge us with your ideas and we’ll start making them real.
