The Wooden Floor Store/Company

Ordered the Engineered 240mm wide Lucerne and the sample board in the showroom was not representative of what I was given. The board in the showroom which consisted of 6-7 planks had just one 15-20 cm knot whereas the planks I received had knots running all along the planks (220cm) about 60-70% of the time. I understand variations are to be expected as sample boards in showrooms are relatively small in comparison but I feel this was way beyond what should be allowed. Furthermore those knots were not filled in properly which resulted in a number of sharp edges (not ideal to walk on). Was given 4 additional boxes for free but more than half of the planks in those could not be used. Overall, very disappointed with this order and would not order from them again...

I tried a number of floor companies in the area and the Wooden Floor Store were the most professional and helpful. It took me a while to decide on the flooring I wanted as I was flooring a reasonably large area. During this time they patiently answered my questions and were not pushy or gimmicky. I used their fitters who arrived on the agreed date and fitted it within the timescale they had given me. The work was outstanding. The new flooring had to be laid on the existing flooring and i did not want skirting boards ripped off or beading round the edges. They cut into the existing skirting and laid the flooring under this. The finish is seamless , no gaps whatsoever. I would recommend this company from start to finish regardless of the size of the job. They kept in contact with me throughout the whole process and checked that I was satisfied with the work after completion .

I bought the giant Oslo flooring from the wooden store. A year on, I'm still pleased with the product. I found the service from wooden floor store, in particular Alan, to be very helpful and patient.

We recently worked with this company to obtain new laminate flooring. They were very helpful and kept in contact. When there were issues with the supplier, they dealt with it well and gave us a discount when we picked another flooring. They helped source a flooring that they normally didn't stock as it was my preferred choice. Prices were good. They have fitters who they recommend, and again they were very professional and reasonable to deal with.
