Brandon at Winter Holben was a pleasure to work with. He was professional and took the time to listen to what we as clients wanted. After interviewing two other architects, we were becoming frustrated that we would not find someone to put our vision to paper. However, one meeting with Brandon changed everything. We are excited to be working with the Winter Holben team! As designers ourselves, we love beautiful and unique architecture as it makes our job easier. Brandon is very accessible, responsive and appreciates the integration of architecture with the landscape. We find that some architects either overlook the importance of wholistic house and land design or they meddle excessively in landscape affairs - Brandon and his team seem to have the right balance and we look forward to many more projects together!

Winter-Holben designed a great-room addition for our existing house. We have a unique landscape, as well as a had a home that lacked real character and design. Brandon was able to work with our property and design a plan that completely updated and modernized our home, while working with our unique landscape. We are so happy with the end result, and would absolutely recommend Winter-Holben. As questions arose through the building process, Brandon was responsive and willing to answer any questions. Wonderful experience!

Nick and Alison Cassotis

Alison and I were searching for a group to design a contemporary addition to an old New Englander home. Prior WH projects in Portsmouth NH such as the Great Rhythm brewery, 3S Artspace, and their local residential projects showed off their contemporary design ability. The design process was interactive and without stress. Brandon was very willing and frequently excited to brainstorm as a group, allowing us to amend / improve the project as it grew in scope. The project is currently underway and seeing the design take physical form is exciting. The highest recommendation is being given here based on the overall experience, quality of designs, and continued assistance during the build process.

We enjoyed working with Brandon and his staff. He and Cecelia were able to answer the many questions we had with great explanations. Though we only had a few basic ideas for our house, they created multiple options for us to consider. Our project has a few unique aspects. Brandon and crew worked with us to integrate these aspects into a cohesive and personalized design. We highly recommend Winter Holben!
