Horrible finish on doors and even worse customer service. Doors had not been sanded or imperfections filled prior to paint. Paint was sprayed so thin you could see yellow showing through. Barn door hardware was a complete joke, basically just poorly spray painted steel and pulleys. They wouldn’t accept returns on the hardware, even though it hadn’t been used. I had to file a dispute with my credit card to get part of the money back to pay for having the doors completely refinished. This company is definitely run by scammers selling over priced doors and hardware. Please don’t make the same mistake I did by doing business with them. Read BBB complaints to see the similar problems other people have had.

I ordered a barn door with White Shanty. My door arrived unfinished and with poor hardware. Customer service is unresponsive. I'd avoid this company.

I purchased a sliding door that arrived wholly unfinished. It had been not sanded, the entire surface had exposed nail holes filled with putty, there was no clear coat, and the edges were exposed. I’ve tried to resolve this amicably with White Shanty, provided them with pictures, and the person I’ve spoken to twice has been very friendly. She didn’t hesitate to assure me I’d be receiving a new door along with the correct soft close system but I’ve never even received the promised emails as to a time frame.

We LOVE our barn door. It is the stuff of dreams! Everything came made exactly to our specifications, and the customer service leading up to our order was fantastic (responsive, prompt, informative, available without being at all pushy. Couldn't have been better!). The shipping company did bang up our door a wee bit, but the staff at WS has been wonderful about helping us figure out how to get that repaired and reimbursed. We also had a weird issue with a screw (that may have been our fault, not theirs), but they sent us 2 new ones super quickly, to make sure it was not an issue for us. Overall, couldn't recommend them more. They've provided a handmade statement piece that is both beautiful and functional. We would definitely order from them again!

I ordered a barn door and the hardware that goes with. It is absolutely beautiful and craftsmanship is top notch. The customer service is amazing! Would recommend to anyone looking!!

I really wish I could give these guys a good review. When we met with them in person, we were super impressed and excited for our tables. But after that first meeting, it was disappointment after disappointment. Not only have our tables been made incorrectly 3 times, they still aren't the quality I expected. It's now 2 months later and they have stopped returning our calls or text messages to make it right. My table isn't the length I ordered and my matching bench is awkwardly 14 inches longer than my table. It looks absolutely horrible. (I wonder if they even own a tape measure.) I also have only been gently using the table for about two weeks and it's already worn down in a few spots. I'll have to revarnish it myself. I could never recommend this company to anyone, which makes me so sad. They have a lot of work to do in terms of organization, realistic time lines, quality control, and professionalism if they ever want to make it. First image is to show the wear after only two weeks of light use. And second photo shows the bench that is 14 inches longer than my table.

I found the Barn Door Hardware on Houzz. I am building a new home for my wife and I and would like to use the hardware for two different applications. The problem that I have is I ordered one set of hardware/tracks back in December, my credit card was charged, but I have yet to receive the hardware or an answer from two emails requesting status of the order. I would like to order another set but the lack of service for the first set makes me want to cancel the order altogether. Please contact me ASAP.

These guys sold me some of their beautiful sliding door hardware, and I could not be any happier. The product is very nice and the service was better. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you White Shanty. Suann
