The process of the remodel with Neal and his team was professional from the onset and he worked with and suggested outstanding sub-contractors. We wanted a distinct look that was envisioned primarily through our designer in Nashville and Triple Point worked with her and contributed to the overall final product. We wanted a modern feel with opening up walls and a redesign of the layout. Neal understood and worked with us with at times awkward logistics (pandemic) and having the owners in another state. The trades are all first rate. The end result is a beautiful kitchen, master bath and two other bathrooms. The work site was kept nothing shy of immaculate throughout the construction process. The quality of the work is exceptional and we are very pleased with the end result. Important to note is that they are dedicated to completion of a punch list with no less of fervor than starting the project. Indeed, as I am writing this I am watching the electronic sub-contractor working in my condo via the newly installed camera system (completing a punch list request in a timely fashion).

What can you do when you’re extremely happy with your waterfront location, love first floor living but need more space? The obvious answer to us was to remodel. Unfortunately, an exhaustive list of reputable contractors all told us that the FEMA guidelines make it to difficult to remodel houses located in flood zones. Our desire to maintain first floor living and significantly add square footage to our existing house was looking bleak. About the time we were ready to succumb, and submit to climbing thirteen feet just to get to the main living floor, we decided to get one last opinion. Luckily for us, the last contractor we contacted for an opinion was TRIPLE POINT DESIGN BUILD. The owner, Neal Fiske promptly meet with us in our home and attentively listened to our wants and needs. He was the first contractor that took the time to look at our existing house from every room and every angle. His initial response was the house had “good bones” and we potentially had other options, other than razing the house because of the strict FEMA guidelines. Within a few weeks, Neal came back with initial architectural drawings and plans that blew us away. It was basically everything we wanted on paper along with a detailed plan how to accomplish this significant remodeling project. It was clear he was not only proficient, but not afraid of FEMA regulations, city building codes and most importantly, he seemed genuinely excited about our project. Although we felt confident in selecting him as the “quarterback” for our team, would he be able to perform? Immediately he SCORED when we were unanimously approved for FIVE variances by the city’s Board of Adjustments, despite tough opposition by one very nasty neighbor and pushing the limits of the city codes! We were all in at that point, and it didn’t take long to realize we had a winner. His work ethic, his compulsive attention to detail, his meticulous documentation and his approachable demeanor made us confident Neal was at the top of his game. He surrounds himself with a professional staff with amazing talents and even his subcontractors are all artisans in their own right. Dennis Jones, the project manager, works tirelessly to make sure everything proceeds seamlessly and is always thinking five steps ahead. Marieke McKinney is a humble genius designer who sees things in dimensions and levels that most mortals are incapable. She can easily sketch her ideas three dimensionally better and faster than any supercomputer. Her knowledge of everything from crown molding to cabinet knobs is remarkable. Her understanding of colors, textures and spaces is unbelievable. I could not imagine trying to design anything without her input. My wife and I were able to go to work each and everyday not worrying with the day to day issues of this colossal project, knowing Neal and his team were in control. Neal always made himself available to us evenings, weekends and even holidays. He was always respectful of our time and always pleasant to talk with and always open to input. Finally, after months of construction and feeling a little homeless at times, we are now living in a house that is beyond our wildest dreams. Every room, every corner, every space has details worthy of publication in architectural magazines. It is as functional as it is stunningly beautiful. We are so proud and happy of the final product and realize that TRIPLE POINT DESIGN BUILD made it possible. No other contractor wanted to put the effort in to give us what we wanted (it’s much easier to raze a house and build a box). It was Neal, who went up against FEMA, a neighbor, the city, and countless other obstacles to deliver us a “championship winning” house. We hired TriplePoint to help us design and manage the remodel of a house we bought in St. Petersburg. It was a whole house renovation with a major focus on the Kitchen and master bath. What I liked most about the design faze was that they really listened to what we wanted and helped guide us to a design and materials that we really love. Sometimes designers come in and have an idea of what they like or what they would do if they lived there and spend all their time trying to convince you to go in their direction. Instead TriplePoint added great suggestions when they saw opportunities to do so. During the building faze they hired excellent subs. You could tell each of the subs was really passionate about what they did and were not just trying to check the box so they could get the bill in the mail. This passion for their work really showed through in an exceptionally high quality finished product. In addition all the subs were very polite, professional and clean (as clean as one can reasonably be on a construction site). Our project manager Denis was also exceptional. He kept the project always moving forward by scheduling the right subs at the right times. In a seven month project there were only four weekdays no one showed up to work and there were more than four weekend days when people showed up to work. His communication was also exceptional, always making sure we understood what was going on and what was going to happen next. I would highly recommend TriplePoint to anyone looking to do renovations in the Tampa Bay area.

My wife and I moved to St. Pete from the West Coast. Having remodeled several homes there we've had more then our share of disappointments, broken promises and missed deadlines. Not to mention keeping it within the budget. We were drawn to the vibrancy and convenience of living in down town St Pete. and finally bought a"beautiful view" from a high floor of one of the high-rises. The condo, however, did not match... it had to be completely remodeled and re-designed. TriplePoint Design was recommended to us as a company that can take this challenge on and deliver high quality results. Since my wife and I have high expectation when it comes to aesthetics, quality and reliability, we were more then apprehensive to start a project of this magnitude in a new place. We were in need of a design/build company who could renovate our 1950s Florida waterfront house. As this house is our second home and our primary home is 1100 miles away, we needed a company whom we could trust to manage all aspects of the renovation in our absence. We talked to several companies and selected TriplePoint for this work, based on their reputation and their track record of award-winning renovations. From initial concept development to detailed design, construction and punch out, TriplePoint far exceeded our expectations. They understood our renovation objectives, and translated them into a creative, aesthetically-pleasing, and functional design. Communications during the project were outstanding; they provided us with daily updates on progress, budget, schedule, and any decisions or issues that needed to be addressed. The TriplePoint staff and their subcontractors were professional, courteous, and trustworthy. The final product was absolutely draw-dropping to us. The house is not only beautiful, but greatly improved from the standpoints of structure and mechanical/electrical systems. Equally impressive was that our final inspection generated virtually no punch-out list: TriplePoint applied their high standards to their own internal inspections, and identified and resolved any issues before our final walk-through. In a nutshell, TriplePoint was exceptional, and we would not consider any other company for future projects.

We bought a house, built in the 1920's, that had great bones but needed some TLC. Working in collaboration with Neal and the team at TriplePoint, we laid out plans to replace all plumbing (while protecting the beautiful historic tile); replace all windows and doors to make the home more resilient in stormy weather; and, most important, develop and implement a concept for a master suite. We were delighted when TriplePoint won a regional COTY award for the master suite. We agree: it is stunning! Working with a strong project manager made all the difference. Dennis was excellent.
