Toby was fantastic! He was professional, timely, and always asked for our input/opinion about various parts of the project. He put in hardwoods in 80% of our house and they turned out beautiful! The subfloor needed to be replaced, which was an unexpected expense, but Toby was honest and handled it like a pro. He also gutted and redid the master bathroom and the guest bathroom. He had us select the finishes, tile, light fixtures, faucets, etc. to ensure we got what we wanted and that we stayed in budget. Toby worked tirelessly to ensure our project was completed as close to the estimated time as possible. Overall we are delighted with the finished project and couldn't be happier that we used Chamberlain Renovations. Thank you, Toby!

Toby remodeled both of my bathrooms and I could not be more pleased with his work. He did all the work himself except for the electrical. He was there promptly every day. He listened to all my requests and questions and would explain to me why if certain things would not work. He helped me find solutions that were the most economical. His final cost was very close to his original estimate. Toby is a perfectionist and will make sure that everything he does is right. His tile work is beautiful.

I hired Toby Chamberlain 1 1/2 years ago (after a recommendation from Sherwin Williams in Chapel Hill) to completely remodel 2 bathrooms in a 1960 ranch. First of all, the very best thing about Toby is that he does all his own work. He usually has 1 person helping him, but he is always there, every day—no excuses and always on time. He is incredibly likable, responsible and honest. He is also patient (when you change your mind). He ran into all sorts of plumbing problems, but handled them efficiently without it costing a fortune. He’s easy to work with—offers ideas, but respects yours, as well. He also has good relationships with his sub contractors which prevent unnecessary delays. After he did a beautiful job of both of my bathrooms, which were finished in a timely manner, I hired him to remodel my kitchen with new cabinetry and install a large island with granite countertops. He also updated the adjoining dining room with shiplap siding after ripping out old paneling and updating old electric work and uneven carpentry. I was thrilled with the end result. Toby is a perfectionist, and will not settle for anything less than his very best. His prices are fair and honest and I trust him implicitly.

Chamberlain Renovations is reliable, cost effective and cosciencious. Mr Chamberlain was on site daily and closely supervised the working team and project progress. I would hire them again for future projects.
