Tia Ortiz for Ethan Allen Rockville

My husband and I are renovating the entire first level of our home. It is in serious need of an update as we have had the same furnishings for 18 years. We have been fortunate enough to work with two amazing designers from Ethan Allen, Tia Ortiz and Rose Bien-Aime. They are helping us with our design plan for the new look. Tia is very easy and fun to work with. She has a great sense of style, both personally and professionally. She brings a bright, fresh perspective to the process. We find that we are choosing fabrics, colors, and furniture pieces that we may not have considered without her guidance. And through it all, she is very mindful of our budget. Tia knows how to put all the elements together, including finishes for the kitchen, tile, carpet, furniture, etc. It is such a pleasure to work with someone who has great ideas and knows how to make them all work together. This is something we could not have done on our own. We are very excited about what the outcome will be! We can't say enough about the benefits of working with Tia. We are glad we found her and you will be too!

I've worked with Tia on styling almost every room in my house and every time someone comes to our home for the first time I get a ton of compliments. Working with her was easy and truly enjoyable. She was able to look at the pieces I already had and suggest new pieces to bring everything together. More importantly she was able to work within my budget. Tia's professionalism and great taste are what keep me coming back for more!

Tia has been designing rooms for me for the the past three years. I always love her choices and room setups, and have never been disappointed with the selections she makes for me. She listens to what I am looking for and is very creative with the ideas she comes up with. I love the fact that she is so easy to work with. Having worked with Ethan Allen for many years I consider Tia one of the best, if not the best designer I have ever worked with.

Tia Hopkins helped us to choose a complete family room and did a terrific job. She understood how we want to be able to use the space and paid close attention to our personal taste as we looked through the Ethan Allen collection. She also provided great advice on which types of upholstered furniture would best suit our needs.She carefully considered the space and she came up with a floor plan that gives us exactly what we were looking for, carefully coordinated with the rug and wall colors. She also is friendly and easy to work with -- I recommend her work with enthusiasm.

Tia is a true professional. Our recent project includes updating our dining area, incorporating a home office into an existing room, and refreshing our master bathroom. This is our second big project working with her. From our very first introduction and visit to our home, she was able to "read" our decorating style right away and come back with a plan that met all of our room needs while creating spaces that we love to come home to and enjoy. She is also one of the most professional, sincere and likable individuals we have be blessed to meet.

I called the store on a Saturday morning to inquire about furniture, and I was extremely impressed that Tia was happy to come over to our house the very next morning. She arrived on time, and she was very professional. She took photos, measurements and notes, and we made a follow-up appointment to meet at the showroom the next weekend. When we arrived at the store, Tia was well prepared for our meeting. She showed us a number of different pieces around the showroom, she answered our questions, and she was patient. She was also very focused, which I genuinely appreciated. We bought a sofa, two chairs, a matching ottoman and new sheers for our living / dining room. Tia had great suggestions about colors and fabric choices, and I feel really good about our new furniture.
