Started my project good enough and then ghosted me, likely because my project was on the lower end of projects cost wise. Never finished tasks nor addressed issues I brought up along the way. Never came when he said he would be here. Subcontractors were even worse to deal with. Did not treat me with half of the respect I provided with every timely payment I made.

Let me start by saying Mark Tant is a super nice guy. However, I will never recommend his company. They did a master suite addition to my home from 6/16-12/16. They use all subcontractors so many mistakes were made. The most egregious was that they tied into the roof of my existing house incompletely, I guess hoping it wouldn’t rain. Well, it did, and it flooded half of my house causing EXTENSIVE damage. Luckily, Tant fixed it, but part of our house was unusable for 4 months. They framed the windows wrong, I had to point it out to get it fixed. One of Tant’s employees made multiple unilateral decisions without me that had to be corrected. I asked for custom closets thinking I’d get actual drawers, but I got some handmade stuff my dad could’ve made me. When I asked for it to be fixed, I was told it wasn’t in the budget. It was my budget!! By that time, I was tired of dealing with them, so I let it go and got it redone elsewhere. We have since done additional work with a company who does not use subcontractors and would highly recommend that route.

This builder is honest and knowledgeable. They take their time to ensure quality work. They listen to their clients, and work diligently to ensure they provide what the client wants. Highly recommend.

The Tant Companies LLC built my Poolhouse recently. The project went extremely well. From planning it out with Mark Tant to working with the supervisor, Alex, I was very satisfied. All workers were courteous and cleaned up after the work was complete. Mar and Alex were very accommodating when it came to strict building codes and when working along side the pool contractor. They were very flexible when it came to the design and the changes made during the process were painless. I would highly recommend this company.

The Tant Companies did a renovation and addition on my home. I couldn't praise my project manager, Alex more for his work ethic. Day or night, weekday or weekend, Alex was either on the job or available to answer my questions. Alex also made me feel like making sure my house was done correctly was personal. The Tant team did great work and finished way before the scheduled finished date. I am more than pleased with the finished product and would hire them again anytime.

We hired The Tant Companies to build a two-level addition onto our 1940s bungalow. It involved reinforcing the foundation, constructing a garage, dining room, master bath and bedroom. We were able to remain in our home throughout the course of the project. We worked with Mark Tant and Tom Knollenberg. They both were responsive, thorough and fun to work with. We are very happy with the quality of work and highly recommend this company.

We used Tant Companies to build a screened in porch w/ fireplace, complete remodel of master bath and installation of hardwood floors in two bedrooms. Alex, our project manager, was incredible to work with throughout the process. Even when we had delays or small issues, Alex was great with communication to make sure we knew what was going on at all times. We will certainly use Tant again in the future and we highly recommend them.

The Tant Company recently completed our home renovation. Mark Tant, our project manager Alex and their crew were all a pleasure to work with. We were very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. My husband and I stayed in the home as extensive renovations were done and an experience that could have easily been very uncomfortable was far from it. Our project manager Alex was on the job every day and always let us know what crew would be there the following day and what time we should expect them. Each and every crew was dependable and respectful. As our project came to an end we felt that The Tant Company was more than just our contractor but became our friends. The Tant Company is honest and dependable and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a home renovation project. You will not be disappointed!

Though we had a pretty good idea on what we wanted to achieve with the project, they (Mark & Alex) still assisted us in thinking through the entire process. !! FINISHED PRODUCT !! - a home better than we imagined!! Their quality of work is amazing. Our Project Manager (Alex) was excellent to work with and consistently informed us of the project status. We plan to use the Tant Companies on our next project - Breezeway & Attached Garage, as well as several exterior items to improve the curb appeal. I loved the nearly 30 year old home I purchased in Nashville, but it needed updating for my entertaining needs and tastes; especially in the kitchen. Unlike other Contractors I had consulted who wanted to scratch the entire kitchen (which would have far exceeded my budget!) Mark Tant suggested we keep the existing all wood cabinets, add more crown and under cabinet lighting and new countertops and backsplash tile, and then update with a fresh, high quality paint to match exactly the new wall of cabinets we added onto the original empty "breakfast nook" wall, in that traditional kitchen. Designed to look like a wall to wall, open-shelf Buffet, this addition, plus the new, large 4-seat Dining Island with gas cooktop and state of the art microwave drawer and warming oven, gave my new White on White Gathering Kitchen, a modern sophistication while remaining comfortably compatible with the classic style of the house. Because of the wise considerations taken in the new kitchen design, I was also able to extend my "dream remodel" to include turning an old, tired laundry room off the kitchen into a new, walk in Pantry, a new gorgeous custom bookcase in my Library, and open up a once confining entry to my Dining Room, which greatly enhanced the design appeal immediately upon entering the home! And, we moved the new Laundry Room conveniently upstairs where the bedrooms are located! I'm thrilled with the finished project; but, I'm most impressed with the courteous, high end professionalism of every working representative of the Tant Companies who entered my home during the extensive process. Everything from really hearing my desires, making very good, enhancing suggestions, showing up when they said they would, and giving me more than I expected while keeping within budget....I tell everyone I can about the integrity of this Company; usually immediately after they ask who built my beautiful kitchen! The Tant Companies built a pavilion/ cabana next to our pool. They were incredibly professional, responsive and attentive to the details. I would/ will use them again and recommend them - without hesitation!

As a supplier for Tant Construction, I've worked with them on several projects and have nothing, but extremely positive experiences to share. They are above all else, honest people of good character.
