Terri was absolutely fabulous! Our property was quite a mess! Terri helped us explore all sorts of options going forward, came up with a gorgeous design, and managed the project from start to finish. She was so incredibly responsive to our desires, patient as she could be as we decided on different courses of action, wildly knowledgeable about ALL plants, extremely resourceful in proposing solutions to our issues, and the final product is just....amazing! Watching her vision come to life has been just a wonderful experience and exceeded ALL of our expectations. In addition, we've found a new friend, because Terri is not just a skilled landscape designer - she is a wonderful person. We just couldn't be happier and here is the proof! Terri is phenomenal!! We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience in working with her! She is a great listener...she really took her time with us; numerous site visits before & during the project, many conversations with us where we shared our thoughts and ideas with her...and she in turn, helped to guide us through thoughtful plant selection to provide color and texture. Our project was fairly large in scope; it involved landscaping around a swimming pool, a pool house and a spa as well as several other adjacent areas. Terri created a colorized sketch of her landscape design so that we could really visualize her recommendations prior to beginning. Not only does Terri have an inexhaustible knowledge of all things horticultural, but she also knows which plants, flowers, trees and shrubs will provide the shape, color and effect we were hoping for. The result has been a remarkable transformation of our once "barren" backyard, into a beautiful, lush garden full of color and design interest. Anybody can stick a few plants in the ground...but to come up with a well-designed, carefully laid-out landscape plan is a challenge best left to a professional landscape designer! The small investment that we made in hiring Terri has been so worthwhile. We are more than happy with the services she has provided and are only too pleased to give her our highest recommendation to anyone planning a landscape project, big or small.

After purchasing my home 2 years ago, I wanted a landscape design that would really make a statement. After talking with Terri a couple of times and reviewing her project photos, I decided she was the person to make my landscape dreams come true. I definitely made the right decision! Terri was very professional, knowledgeable, and was on time and budget. She was quick to return phone calls and answer any questions that I had. My neighbors have commented how beautiful the design is! I will definitely be using Terri again, when the need arises, and I HIGHLY recommend her!

Terri and I worked closely on having the native plants I wanted in her landscape design. She has been on site for almost all the planting by the landscapers, and made sure the plants I wanted were placed where we had decided. She is very detail oriented, which I greatly appreciate.

We had just finished building a home on an acre of land and had little to no knowledge of what to plant. Terri Long met with us a number of times to understand our needs and put together a beautiful and very comprehensive landscape plan and made sure that it was executed perfectly. Terri has excellent design skills and is very easy to work with. We would highly recommend Terri.

When we moved into our newly built house, our small lot was a blank slate. We wanted a designer who would consider what we wanted (e.g. native plants, mix of grasses, shrubs and perennials, particular color palette) and present a creative design that addressed those requests. Terry Long was that designer! She brought her vast knowledge of design, native plants, and ease of upkeep to the project. She was flexible, making changes and adjustments as the plan evolved. She creatively solved problems that arose (e.g. drainage issues). We wanted a fountain/bird bath and Terry went with me to the stone yard to pick the perfect rock. She worked with us to submit all necessary paperwork to the HOA Landscape Committee and was always timely and thorough in her response to communication. It was a real pleasure working with Terry and we are very pleased with the results.

Terri created a design plan for my yard that captured everything I had asked for, and with her ideas and experience transformed my yard into a lovely place that can be enjoyed all year round. The design plan included both hardscaping and landscaping. I had a sloping back yard that I wanted terraced in a way to support the installation of a studio shed, and I had a front yard that needed some TLC that included moving plants around, planting new ones and adding a retaining wall and steps. In addition to the design plan, she contacted landscapers for bids, compared bids to help me decide which vendor to hire, and gave oversight to the installation, ensuring everything was done to the highest standard. I highly recommend Terri. She was a pleasure to work with, and I could not be happier with the outcome of her plan for my yard.

Terri was amazing to work with. Not only did she listen to our design needs, but she exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were looking to keep the natural elements of our surroundings and wanted to use almost all native plants, which Terri incorporated seamlessly. From out first meeting to the end of installation, we could not have been more pleased. In fact, she was so wonderful to work with that my father is using her, too!

Working with Terri has been truly a pleasure! She listened intently to what our particular needs were and then offered suggestions and options as solutions. She provided us with visual examples of the plants we discussed and then designed our garden plan. She worked closely with the landscape installers and really was our advocate to be sure the plantings were placed carefully to achieve the most pleasing views. We got landscaping design estimates from three different designers/contractors and found Terri's design to not only be the best looking and most effective at addressing a slope and erosion challenge; but also the least costly. Her contracting team was very thorough and of highest quality in their installation of gravel drainage areas and raised beds with Locust wood barriers. I would definitely hire Terri and her team again if the opportunity come up for further landscaping on our property!
