Mimi Goldberg Shulman

Mimi worked with us on a large project, divided into 2 stages- our first floor and basement, and later on- our 2nd and 3rd floor. She worked with us on the project from start to finish, constantly coming up with creative ideas for how to best utilize our space and maximize function and aesthetic appeal. When people come over and asked about our construction job, I tell them: "Anything you like about my house was Mimi's idea." Because it's true. :) Mimi not only made our house turn out to be a warm, inviting, beautiful place for our family to be and spend time together, she also made sure to choose and recommend products, tiles and fixtures that would be timeless, classic and enduring in nature so we would not tire of our choices even as time passes and the current trends passed. Mimi thinks outside the box, has been gifted an amazing ability to visualize a space in it's completion and how different factors will play into a given space's feel and function. She is also able to strike a unique blend of staying classic and timeless, while mixing together interesting pieces from different styles/periods (modern/transitional/traditional/contemporary) to create a space that is in sync with her client's taste as well as updated, interesting and inviting.

I work for Wade Maxx Art & Framing, and we do the custom framing for Mimi Goldberg Shulman. Working with Mimi is effortless - she has the business savvy to quickly grasp concepts and turn out exceptional visuals with very little revision required - and all within the committed deadlines. Mimi works tirelessly to ensure every detail of a clients project meets the clients expectations. She has great follow through, and pays close attention to details. As a designer she can be bold and energetic or simple and refined, depending on the application. Its a pleasure to work with her.

Mimi helped me design my living room, which is a very challenging space to work with. She has a great sense of space, design, and color and I finally feel like the it's a comfortable and harmonious place to be. I highly recommend her for tackling any design project!
