About Sunset Western Garden Collection® Sunset Western Garden Collection®, introduced in spring 2012, is the first plant collection designed specifically for the Western gardener. Sunset® magazine and Plant Development Services collaborated to bring these superior plant introductions to retail garden centers in California, Washington and Oregon. Our partnerships with local growers allow us to customize the collection to best meet the climatic differences of our diverse gardening regions.
