About Us

Style Merchants is an Interior Design & Decoration studio that helps clients seek unique answers to their design and decorating brief. My job is to inspire the client and to provide design and furnishing solutions for homes that become a joy to live in. Jodie has been working in the industry for nearly 28 years in Melbourne, London and Sydney. She specialises in spatial planning, furniture selections, lighting selections and all aspects of soft furnishing. Every home is unique, every client is different so it is vital that Style Merchants develops an individual, practical and bespoke concept which we see through to design and implementation. Our service sees us working collaboratively with the client, architect, landscaper and builder to achieve beautifully curated spaces.

Jodie has worked with me for the past two years. During this time we have done extensive renovations (structural and cosmetic). Jodie has been a wealth of information and incredibly helpful. She has designed the bathrooms, kitchen and joinery. Jodie has also been heavily involved in the colour scheme selection, flooring and furnishings. Through out this project she has worked closely with the architects, builders and various trades. I have really enjoyed working with Jodie and we're very happy with the results. I would highly recommend her.

Jodie was amazing at helping me finalize the interiors for my home. I was overwhelmed and confused with all my ideas before meeting with her and she really helped me get some clarity with what was going to work in the space. She has great style, was flexible with the amount of work and was very approachable and easy to work with. I would use Jodie again and recommend her. She has an extensive interiors background and great knowledge of the industry and suppliers.
