We cultivate creative design solutions unique to each project using strategies that are indicative of local climate, culture, and community. Committed to providing a quality product, Studio 2G curates a harmonious balance between a design aesthetic, the client's needs, the workings of the built world, and an appreciation of the natural environment. The principals of Studio 2G, Heidi Gibson & Laura Gough, began their partnership at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where they both earned their Bachelor of Architecture Degree in 1994. They then cultivated their knowledge of the field working locally and regionally, until they decided to combine their interests, ultimately bringing Studio 2G into fruition in 2005. Passionate advocates for sustainable environments, they both carry their LEED Accredited Professional BD+C. At Studio2G, we value our natural resources to the utmost and make every effort to spread awareness about green design, green building materials, and an overall green lifestyle, constantly striving to envelop what it means to be a sustainable and energy-conscious practice.
