We had an excellent experience working with Monica. Even though remodeling can be stressful, she took care of everything and made it an incredibly enjoyable experience. She’s very creative and stands behind her work, even when things go wrong. And on that note, very little went wrong. We love our space and we would use Monica again for future projects.

Design Studio 1127 came highly recommended to us by another contractor that we have used - and they did not disappoint! We love our new bathroom, kitchen cabinet doors, and shelving. We want to say thank you very much for everything. Monica, was so wonderful to work with! It took a little longer than planned, but we appreciate that everyone on your crew has been focused on doing quality work and making sure everything was done correctly. They are true craftsmen. Isaac, Danny, Marco, Mr. Cruz and his helper were all so pleasant to work with. Please let them know how much we appreciate their hard work and craftsmanship. Thank you for patiently guiding us through this project. We could not be more pleased!

I highly highly recommend Monica and her Design Studio 1127. I just had her do a curtain project w custom iron rods to dress up storage areas in my bedroom and over my washer dryer in my Barrio Libre home in Tucson and it turned out magnificent. She’s hands on w a south of the border sensitivity which is just what I’m looking for in a design pro. I will be doing other projects w her in the near future. Visit her studio on Meyer in the Barrio as it’s a real treat

Very happy with the results of my bathroom remodel. Monica is a great designer and brought to life a combination of her and my vision. I loved all of her recommendations and incorporated them all. She was very easy to work with and the craftsmen she has perform the work were top notch.

Monica and her team of professionals transformed our house into a beautiful home. The small touches compliment the modern design of the original home with a casual neutral base accented by gorgeous clay accent walls and mesquite beams. The workmanship rivals the best I have ever seen - every room left perfect just waiting for us to begin our life here. I highly recommend Monica knowing you will get only the best from her!

Monica and Marcela did a wonderful job on our kitchen refresh, working within our limited budget. All the tasks were completed on schedule and the quality of the installations (cabinet refinishing, new quartz countertop, tile backsplash) was excellent. I made a wise decision in selecting them and am delighted with my new kitchen!

Monica and her well-chosen team did a great job of enhancing the fireplace in our living room. What was once a wallflower fireplace is now a beautiful focal point for our living room. We would hire Design Studio 1127 again in a heartbeat.

Monica and Marcela provided highly personal and professional service to us on a very complicated window covering project for a new house build. The material selection was excellent and they provided invaluable insights on choice of fabrics. Additionally, they have provided follow up service as required. We will certainly be using them in the future and are delighted to recommend Design Studio for a broad array of interior designs.

Monica has done several projects for us over the last few years. We have been very satisfied with her design ideas, advice, materials suggestions, and completion of the projects. Items included outdoor utility screening, custom furniture manufacture, re-upholstering, and a new tile floor. Monica is very professional and also a pleasure to work with. She makes sure that all work is done correctly.

Monica is such a talented designer. She has helped me so so much. She has a natural eye for detail and color. I had some very odd spaces in my home that she was able to tie together so that they would flow. Removing a wall, flooring, paint colors, kitchen details, fireplaces, furniture, rugs, decor and window treatments. She does it all. Even shopping with FaceTime. She’s she absolute BEST!

We recently ordered some Tableaux decorative grilles for our home, and Monica was wonderful in helping us with this process. She came to our home to offer suggestions, listened to our request for a customized order, kept us informed as to the progress of our order, and she made sure everything happened before our deadline. The grilles were beautifully crafted, and we would recommend Studio 1127 for your home decorating needs.

I am happy to rate Monica and her professionalism with the highest recommendations. While I had a loose vision of how I wanted my kitchen remodel to look, Monica offered three plans, which gave me options from basic change to creating basically a whole new living space in my old adobe one story vacation home. I opted for the one that created the most change, and I am so glad I did. Monica had many creative ideas of how to make the space unique, she helped come up with a budget ( which was very important to her to stay close to throughout), worked with the contractors, and managed the whole project for me as I was unable to be there for most of the work. She is highly professional, listens closely to your ideas, always available and generally a pleasure to work with. I look forward to working with her on a few more items to complete the renovation...

Commented: may I asked what wood did you use for cabinets? thanksOf course, we use select Alder (aka clear Alder). The stain color is Jacobean or Dark Walnut.
