My wife and I had the great pleasure to work with Stand Architects on the remodel of our 4,000 sq. ft. home a year ago. The remodel involved extensive structural changes with removal of several load bearing walls and the redesigning of our kitchen, family room, living room, dining room, master bath, master bedroom, home office, and the addition of a loggia by our backyard pool. Steve Stand had a clear understanding of what our vision for the remodel would be, an excellent sense of design, a thorough understanding of what the structural engineering would require, and a well developed plan for how the project should proceed. He continued to be involved in supervising the construction process and was always readily available when issues arose requiring his attention. In addition, he went out of his way to ensure that the plans went through the city review process without delay - hand walking them through the city's various departments to ensure there were no delays in our project. We had no unexpected problems with our project nor did we have any delays due to the architectural portion of our remodel. I am completely satisfied with Stand Architects and would gladly use them again in the future. I would give them ten stars if that were possible!

Steve Stand has been integral in several of our full-home renovations. As a committed and passionate architect, he finds the beauty in the original structures while completely reimagining the space beyond what our clients could have dreamed for themselves. As interior designers, we appreciate the level of involvement and care he provides throughout the entire process, not just the beginning architectural phase. Beyond providing the architectural plan, Steve sets the foundation for the interior features of the home. He can envision the end result, and he understands what is takes to execute the interior design. His collaborative and creative presence onsite with the design-build team is invaluable. We used Stand Architects for a 4,200 square foot total renovation and we couldn't be happier with this decision! Steve was referred to us by a friend, who also happens to be an architect, for a whole house remodeling project. We had never undertaken a project like this before and were looking for someone with the knowledge and ability to guide us through the process and the vision to provide us with multiple design options to consider. We have had the pleasure of working with Steve Stand on a full scale gut/expansion/renovation of a single family home in Orange County.
