Steve and the Natures Elite team did a great job transforming our lake side garden. They were always helpful and polite. Steve brought in a garden designer, who planned a beautiful patio and plantings. Steve kept in touch with us throughout the process, dealing with issues as they came up. They worked very quickly as the excavating and wall building started just after Labor Day The crew finished most of the job before Thanksgiving. All is all they did a terrific job.

Highly recommend Nature's Elite! We used them to improve the aesthetic around our new home which involved installing new pavers, some grading and planting, and creating a gravel area for parking. They were recommended to us by our construction company and they certainly delivered on a very tight timeframe. The job was well scoped and we were confident in what to expect. We hired Steve & his team on the word of a friend, & from the 1st visit he made to our home we knew they were the team for the job! Our patio was a pretty big project, lots of site work in a very tough backyard! And as with all big projects we ran into some unexpected issues- drainage being a big one. None of this ever phased them, they just kept moving forward to get it done & get it done right-there was never any cutting corners. And as if their hard work was not enough, Steve's pricing was always upfront & more than fair. Natures Elite installed a cobble stone paver walkway with 10 large granite steps. Their work was done quickly and exactly to our wishes. They helped us out by completing the job when another company could not fulfill the contract we signed. We hired Steve Mitchell of Nature's Elite to implement our landscaping plan. We liked Steve immediately when he came over to survey our situation in March. We had to wait until August for our driveway to be finished, but were amazed when he was able to get started within a week or so after that. He also was great about finding an expert craftsman to build a retaining wall, finding a granite step at a reasonable price, finding someone to attend to our existing evergreens and another person to spread some excellent compost to reinvigorate our lawn. In addition, he had helpful advice about plants - what to get, how to space them and the best locations for each. Steve also came up with a solution for every problem that came up and never seemed too busy to answer a question. Steve's crew, including his two sons, were a delight to have around: they were polite and hard-working and always cleaned up after each day's work, as well as being agreeable to any last-minute changes that we came up with. The job performed by Nature’s Elite in our new house can best be described as OUTSTANDING. Their understanding of what needed to be done in order to correct some severe erosion problems provided us with the options to decide the most cost effective solution. Their work ethic is excellent, they were prompt, friendly and courteous. The additional jobs, a retaining wall, and a beautiful walkway were completed on budget and the workmanship is fantastic. We had a large patio complete with underground propane, firepit, circular wall and outdoor kitchen installed at our lakehouse by Steve and his crew. They also handled the landscaping with a wide assortment of shrubs, trees and grass reseeding. We could not be more pleased with how it came out. This was a turnkey operation. Steve handled all the logistics, coordinating with electricians, irrigation, plumbing and granite top vendors and made great suggestions on materials and colors. He ordered and installed our grill, refrigerator, kegerator and fire pit. He even purchased and set up our kegerator so we could enjoy a nice cold beer when we came up for the weekend. Steve has an excellent team and he is an awesome communicator. I knew where the project stood on a daily basis and boy did his team work fast. In 3 days, he had the layout scoped out, hole dug and filled with supporting gravel. And best of all, the project came in on budget!!! The transformation of our backyard was impressive. Steve was a pleasure to work with. I could not envision us selecting a better team for our project. I would recommend Nature's Elite to anyone considering a landscape and design project.

Steve Mitchell and his sons and their entire team do only impeccable work. They worked very collaboratively with me to make recommendations as to what solution would work best in each given space and the outcome is stunning. Steve Mitchell and his team from Natures Elite were highly responsive, professional, and very tallented craftsmen who turned our dreamscape into reality. We initially worked closely with their excellent designer to create a 900 square feet multi level hardscape complete with a propane gas fit fire and hot tub. They worked hand in hand with the other trades (electrical and plumbing) to also coordinate the installation of a 500 gallon propane tank and standby generator. Nature's Elite also installed two fences as part of the project. They were great to deal with and we highly recommend them to anyone. They were the best!

My front yard was a disaster for over a year then Steve Mitchell and his crew came to our rescue. He showed up when he said he would and he did what he said he would do. For months people would ask, “what happened to your lawn?” Now they are driving by slowly and staring, totally amazed at the green velvet lawn. We recently built a new house and Steve and his company were recommended by our builder. We've done two projects so far with Steve and have been very happy with the entire process both times. We did walkways, 2 landscape beds and 2 patios. From our initial meetings, to picking out stones and plants and reviewing plans everything was done in a timely manner. Natures Elite recently designed and completed a landscaping project for us. The scope of the project was broad, including a permeable paver apron in front of our garage to alleviate water drainage issues and replacing and improving our entrance walkway. Nature's Elite provides snow removal services for the Winnipesaukee Playhouse's very large campus. Ensuring the safety of our patrons is a huge concern and Steve takes that seriously. He is proactive in making sure our parking lot is ready and responds very quickly to last-minute changes in weather which require prompt attention. Definitely recommend him.

Nature's Elite was selected to do some landscape work in our homeowners' community as part of a project to remove old shrubs and bushes (and within budget). I hired Natures Elite Landscaping towards the end of September last year to replace 2 retaining walls that had early signs of collapse and was beginning to damage the siding on our home at the entrance of our basement walk out french doors. I went online and did my research. They were one of the very few that had a great website or one at all. I loved the fact that the owner, Steve Mitchell (and his workers) regularly go to seminars to stays current in their field. Steve himself came out and gave me the quote. He described the whole job process he would have to do and why, in terms that I would understand. He happily answered any questions I had. They were able to reuse the existing paver stones that were in good condition which saved me money. I found them to be extremely professional and trust worthy. They arrived and left on time and was explained in detail what was going to be done that day, each day. The job was done on time and as quoted. Steve had even called a few days later to follow up on his work and to see if there were any issues. I waited to write my review to see how the walls held up over the winter and they are just perfect. I HIGHLY recommend Nature's Elite Landscaping.

Our experience with Nature's Elite has been excellent. Always prompt to respond to our requests and their work has been excellent. Also, innovative. Where we had a strip of river rocks instead of mulch he removed the weeds with a small flame saving time for him and money for me. No damage was ever done. Elite also plows my property in the winter and that has been excellent as well. As I live on a lake front and not allowed to fertilize Elite replaced my lawn with a new grass seed that is durable and healthy.

Looking to replace our decrepit front entry way as it was just getting dangerous. We wanted a granite slab so we spoke with Swenson Granite out of Concord NH and they suggested Steve's company, Natures Elite. We met with Steve and right out of the gate we had a good feeling. First, he was on-time and if you work with contractors much, that's a BIG DEAL. We showed him what we wanted, Steve gave us some great suggestions at the same time keeping the budget in mind so we went with him. Prior to starting the project we had some questions and every time I either emailed, txt, or called, I got a reply very soon after, again a very BIG DEAL. I was onsite when Steve and his crew which was made up of his two boys started work. They didn't cut any corner during the excavation and during the pre work prior to installing the pavers and granite work. Steve and his boys are just a pleasure to work / be around, they work hard, enjoy what they are doing and the work shows that. Just a beautiful finish product, I would highly recommend Steve for any landscaping job, you will not be sorry.

I contacted Steve about 9 months ago to replace a railroad tie retaining wall. I had read reviews about his company on the internet and was impressed so thought I would give him a call. Well.....this guy is terrific! And so isn't the company he has built. He answered my phone message immediately and the contact we have maintained throughout the months planning and executing the work has been exceptional. Steve is very knowledgeable and we discussed different ways to fix the wall and went with a concrete block. Because I am on the lake it took me awhile to get the necessary approval from the environmental agency and Steve was patient and ready to go when I was. The work was just completed and it looks fantastic! His crew worked extremely hard and it wasn't an easy job. I don't think you will find a top professional landscaping company who has the knowledge, work quality, and communication skills better than Natures Elite! A+++ in my book! Steve and his crew at Natures Elite offered their assistance in completing a walkway in front of our police department. Like most municipalities funding for special projects is limited and Steve offered to donate his labor and assist us in finding a donor for the pavers. We started with Nature's Elite 1 year ago. They were highly recommended by a neighboring business. We run a business and needed help with fall clean up. The work was beautifully done, quick and cost effective. The owner is super professional, true to his word and honest in his appraisals. So we now have them for weekly lawn/trim maintenance and a massive shrubbery removal in August to improve our view. The crew is professional, knowledgeable, thorough, fast and reasonable. I cannot say enough how happy I am to have found them. My frugal husband always wants to 'do it himself' and I was surprised he was willing to take on the landscaping help. We want them back again for fall clean up! We also like that they are from this area and take pride in their business relationships and work ethic.

I have been a resident of WinnStock Condominium Association since 1981 and have worked with several different landscape companies, both large and small during those years. In 2013, Steve Mitchell of Natures Elite was interviewed and awarded WinnStock's landscaping and snow removal contract. That first winter was one of epic proportions in terms of storms and total snowfall. Steve and his crew did a remarkable job of keeping the roadways and walkways clear of snow and ice that entire winter. Along with cutting, trimming and pruning, Natures Elite performed major projects that have enhanced WinnStock's property. Steve's landscape design capability is a real asset as i have reached out to him on several occasions. In the summer of 2015 he designed and installed a 200 foot flow bed. After work was started, Steve was asked to meet a more aggressive schedule than was originally agreed upon. Rather than renegotiate or complain, Steve and his crew worked nights and weekends to complete the project on time and per the $7,500 budget. Most recently, Natures Elite completed a second large scale project budgeted at $27,000. Steve and his crew worked along side another contractor and in the end I received nothing but positive comments from both crews, as they worked well together. During my many years as a Board member, I have not been more pleased with the services of any other landscape contractor. My wife and I chose Nature's Elite Landscaping because they are one of the few contractors that are certified installers for the Techo-Bloc pavers we selected. Steve met with us to assist us in our paver choice, providing expertise regarding the benefits and issues with each type. He visited our site to walk us through his process as well. His timeframe for completion was very reasonable and once his team started work on the patio, the building of it took only 4 days. Steve provided daily updates with photographs to chronicle the work that was completed. When I ran into an issue with having my propane tank moved, and Steve was already on-site, he worked with me to resolve my problem at a minimal additional cost. Steve offered a regrading of my lawn to take advantage of the displaced dirt from the excavation of the patio area. This resulted in a much improved lawn at a reasonable price. Steve's quote regarding cost and schedule was met. As I was not able to be on-site for the work, there were some challenges with respect to coordinating the work with other professionals, but Steve was able to work with me to keep everything on schedule. Working with Steve and his team was a pleasure and I highly recommend Nature's Elite Landscaping services for your patio installation or other landscaping needs.

The job entailed removing an old brick patio area with overgrown landscaping. They did a beautiful job of replacing the patio with pavers and mulching the buffer area near the walkway. The entrance to our home now looks perfect. This is for a vacation home so my ability to be on site is limited. The owner, Steve Mitchell, came to meet me on my limited time in the dead of winter, discuss options and plan the job. He answered every email promptly. And the job was completed well ahead of my expectations. Finding a knowledgeable landscape professional who respects your time is priceless.

I found Natures Elite Landscaping on the internet. I met Steve the following weekend to do the estimation of the work that was needed to be done on my yard. And he was GREAT. He told me what must be done and what can wait, how to be on the budget and still have a gorgeous landscaping. Steve just completed a major project for my wife and me that included repaving two walkways, replacing asphalt in a large area at the top of our driveway in front of our garage with pavers, replacing 13 feet of asphalt at our driveway entrance with permeable pavers, and coordinating with an asphalt paving company to repave our driveway. When we first met Steve, my wife and I were impressed with his knowledge and experience as an authorized Belgard paver installer. We had looked at his website and were impressed with his work. But what particularly impressed us was his professional integrity. When our house was built and landscaped eight years ago we installed bluestone walkways leading to two Brazilian Walnut decks on the house. Unfortunately the walkways were not installed correctly. The base they rested on was stonedust, not layers of compacted stone. Also, they were not pitched correctly to allow proper water runoff. Water continuously collected at the base of the steps and over the years the bluestone pavers also became uneven and unsightly. We wanted to use non permeable pavers for the walkways and garage area. On our first meeting with Steve he measured how much he would have to raise the new walkways to flow water away from the steps. They would have to be raised at least four inches which meant that the steps on each deck would have to be removed and then reinstalled. We would likely have have the steps redesigned to have fewer treads. Steve said that he would not take the job unless we removed and reinstalled the steps. He wasn't going to cut corners. We were completely won over by his professionalism and decided that we would use him right then and there. Our driveway was also not designed properly. It had a low area between the road and the garage that water pooled in when it rained. The driveway was not elevated enough nor pitched correctly to allow water to flow off of it and into the grass. Steve installed a 13 foot permeable apron at the entrance of the drive, coordinated with an asphalt paving company he works closely with to repave our driveway with the correct pitch, and cut a swale in the lawn to allow a path for water to flow away from the driveway. The entire job was done professionally and with care, with Steve going further than required many times. For example, the required base for the permeable driveway apron is about two feet or so. Steve went down about 3 1/2 feet to further ensure a good base to catch the water at top of the drive. The finished work is spectacular. The new pavers have given our house an elegance and beauty that was completely lacking before. We have no more issues with water pooling on the walkways and the driveway. The test came about a week after the driveway was repaved. We had two days of constant rain, heavy much of the time. No pooling occured on either the walkways or the driveway. The results of this project have completely surpassed our expectations.

I've known Steve Mitchell since the days when he plowed my driveway. He was the most prompt and thorough contractor I had ever had for that service. His real job is landscaping. As I completed a major renovation he was on the top of my list to contact for the project. Once again I found him to be reliable, professional, and talented. He can think outside the box when needed. The project included entry way stairs, pavers, planting, and erosion control. He won't make your decisions for you but if he tells you " trust me on this. You'll like it" you should listen to him! I found Nature's Elite here on Houzz and was so happy when Steve agreed to come up to where I live! His company did a wonderful job of fitting me into their schedule to make sure that the decking around my new pool would be done as quickly as possible! His crew did a fantastic job working diligently and getting things done in an extremely timely manner. They were respectful of the property and were on time and ready to go everyday despite there being a bit of a drive. In addition, Steve was very helpful in working with me to choose plants and large rocks for the pool and greater property landscape. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again in the future.

Steve Mitchell installed a beautiful brick paver walkway in our school's new greenhouse. Steve did amazing work and the resulting walkway was outstanding. Steve cares about quality. He's not a person who takes shortcuts or looks to do things the easy way...he does them the right way. He was prompt in his communication and quickly responded to any question I had. He worked with me to make sure the outcome was what I wanted and then worked hard to complete the project in a timely manner. This is an easy review to write. Steve Mitchell (Natures Elite) has done a wonderful job with both design of the initial job request and construction with the many changes requested. My wife and I needed a replacement of an exterior stairway and retaining wall leading from entryways to the upper and lower level of our house. After the job started we decided to repair and change the design of both of the mud rooms the stairway joined. Steve recommended a carpenter, Fred Hall of Belmont, for the work. which turned out to be a great choice. After a wonderful experience with Natures Elite installing granite steps and a paved walkway, I hired Steve Mitchell and Natures Elite to landscape my pathetic front and side yards this summer. Steve is a gifted designer and created several sketches digitally to show me what it would look like. I was 3000 miles away at the time of the design phase,but his communication is so good it was very easy to see and approve the plan. He set a date and arrived with his crew promptly and finished that same day. I am thrilled with the results. He explained how to maintain things...not much but to water the plants... Our brick patio was in terrible shape. Steve gave me a proposal to remove all the old bricks, dig down at least 12 inches, bring in new material, compact that material and then lay pavers that looked like the existing bricks. He delivered everything in the proposal with "no fuss or muss". The patio came out looking fantastic. Steve and his staff were efficient and effective while on the work site. Other than the equipment, there was very little noise. There was no loud radios, no loud shouting, and no smoking on the job site. Natures Elite Landscaping was recommended to me by two of my neighbors. I have no problem also adding my recommendation. They did a great job.

This is a tremendous company! I cannot praise Steve and his crew enough. After receiving one quote for my project, I then found Natures Elite Landscaping's ad at George's Diner in Meredith. My call to Steve Mitchell was returned promptly and the next day, he came and looked at my property. His conceptual vision for my backyard met with my own vision. He met with me several times to finalize the design and promptly returned all of my phone calls and emails. Steve and his crew were just a joy to work with. They were on time, stayed within the projected time frame and were incredibly pleasant to work with. I was onsite every day and got to witness first hand what a labor intensive job it is to grade an area, lay down ledge pack, sand and pavers. His crew worked tirelessly even in the sweltering heat. Steve also coordinated with both the fencing company as well as the electrician for the underground conduit. Steve from Natures Elite just did an incredible job at our lake house. He installed a gorgeous front walk-way, an impressive, beautiful patio, and new landscaping. I found Natures Elite Landscaping from some positive reviews on Winnipesauke.com web site. Steve answered his phone and met with me within a day, on the weekend. Other Landscapers took a week to respond to me. Steve invited me to visit him on site at a nearby job where the homeowner was happy to show me his patio and gave him high satisfaction rating. My project involved about a month of work. Steve takes an interest in the project as if it was his own home. They are honest and professional. My wife and I have actually enjoyed doing business with him. He has helped us with ideas, sensitive to costs, but doesn't compromise quality. Probably the best contractor I have ever dealt with and we have many years experience dealing with contractors. He responded to all calls, emails, and texts, including weekends. Kept us informed of all stages of the work. The job was started and finished exactly as he said. Steve also referred other contractors to us which worked in tandem and were of the same integrity as Steve. His prices were competitive. Steve treated me honestly and fairly. You can trust what he says. I really enjoyed working with him and will use him in the future. I give him a 5 star rating.

I hired Steve Mitchell/Nature's Elite to install a permeable paver patio and I could not be happier with the result. Steve is completely professional, obviously an expert in his field, reliable, knowledgeable, and highly responsive. He responded to emails very promptly, and often was not bound by regular business hours, which was very helpful throughout the project. Like Steve, the young men who work for him were personable, polite, well mannered, all with an excellent work ethic. They worked exhaustively, during torrential rain downpours without hesitation or complaint. They were efficient, quick, kept the mess to an absolute minimum and left everything looking perfect. Nature's Elite Landscaping installed a paver driveway with multiple sweeping curves over a rolling grade that broke in four directions. The installation was carefully matched to the existing grades and mature vegetation. The installation included root barrier, granite curbing and a mill wheel center piece, all of different thicknesses and all expertly matched at the finish grade. The crew was courteous, motivated, and conscientious. They were very receptive to thoughts and suggestions and were very helpful with their explanations. The crew also took much care to preserve the property surrounding the installation. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the experience and finished product.

Steve is easy to work with and responsive to our questions and concerns. He was hired to prune and maintain our landscaped areas that have been neglected and overgrown for some time now. In his care, our landscaped areas and overall property now look great!

We recently contracted with Natures Elite Landscaping to install a Permeable Paving System in South Down Shores. From the initial contact and throughout the entire project, Steve was extremely professional and very responsive to all of our needs. Steve offered a competitive quote and his ability to respond electronically was very helpful with moving the project along. His team was very courteous and Steve was always on site actually performing many of the tasks himself. He is very hands on and never left the job unattended. Steve offered suggestions during construction that added some nice features while working at our location. He also resolved a water problem that was uncovered during the excavation. This improvement helped the Condo Association eliminate any future problems with run off. We are extremely satisfied with the finished patio and we now are experiencing “patio envy” throughout our village. Natures Elite has been the landscaper at our condo association for the past three years. When they arrived the property was overgrown and all the plantings were aging. They came in and after a thorough review began the tedious job of reshaping, removing, and/or transplanting the overgrown shrubs. This year for the first time we are beginning to see the fruits of their labor. The flowering shrubs are loaded with flowers and the other shrubs are back to useful size and much healthier. This work was all done without added cost over and above our normal landscaper fees. Steve Mitchell knows what he is doing. He works very well with all the condo owners. He is a good listener, friendly and outgoing and tries very hard to work with both the board of directors and the individual residents. We don't have a huge budget for new plantings, but with Steve's help our property looks as if we spent a bunch!
