Jen transformed our unfinished basement into a functional family room with a bathroom, fireplace, built-in storage areas and bookcases, bar area and separate laundry/utility room. It is absolutely beautiful now. Jen was friendly and professional to work with, flexible with my indecisions and instrumental in getting a building permit in Portsmouth. The builder was impressed with Jen's capabilities as well. We highly recommend Somma Studios.

Jen Ramsey at Somma Studios has been absolutely AMAZING to work with. We hired her to design and facilitate our garage addition. My husband and I had built our existing house and did the majority of the work ourselves. Everything in the house is custom. After 2 children and a growing business we realized we would not be able to be as involved when creating and building our garage. Jen's line of communication, thoughtfulness, and creativity have been nothing short of impressive. She came out to see our house, sit with us, and listened to our wants and needs for the space. She came up with a beautiful design that allowed the addition to look like it was always intended to be here and flowed with the existing house. I have always known where we are in the process as she is extremely attentive to email and communication and letting me know where we are at. She has taken initiative in next steps and I never need to ask her 'what's next' or 'where are we in the process'. I cannot wait to see how this project unfolds and I would, without a doubt, recommend her services to anyone.

My husband and I had the pleasure and blessing of working with Jennifer Ramsey throughout our home addition. Through this process Jennifer was beyond instrumental in helping us navigate through the endless decisions and truly got to know us on a personal level which helped her have a better understanding of who we are a as a family and the needs we were looking to fill. One of our BEST changes came from a suggestion that she gave to us that wasn't even in the original planning. We have referred other friends to her talents and they share in our satisfaction. On a personal level, she's a wonderful, down to earth gal to work with. We for sure would highly recommend her and she will be our 1st call when other planned projects come time to create.

Jennifer worked with me on a recent addition to my house. The project turned my (very) plain ranch into a charming house that people slow down to look at and catch the details. Jen understood my vision of keeping the house relatively small but bringing in light and making a greater connection to the outside. My house is located in a flood zone and with greater building restrictions but she designed creatively and came up with better solutions because of the limitations. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with and brought considerable energy to the job. She was responsive any to concerns or questions from the builder and they communicated efficiently and kept the project moving.

We are a growing family, and SOMMA realized and understood our needs a sa family of 6, that our space should be useful, fun and durable! They took their time to help detail every aspect of the design, and maintained this process throughtout the build. They 2 story additional, and kitchen redesign came out better than expected!
