Our custom master bathroom cabinets from Raymond Smith's Cabinets look great and are well built. The color & finish looks really good, and the measurements are right on as it fit into space perfectly and matched the design documents. All the standard features were included on these L arranged cabinets, with linen closet in corner between his & her sink cabinets. A key for us was making as much storage space available as possible, which included on center linen closet - extending all the way to 9' ceiling, extending upper shelfs all the way back to wall corner, and extending bottom drawers as far back as possible. Also, on his & her cabinets they were extended back to corner where they meet the center linen cabinet, for extra storage under sink. The install team was very good – they were on time, they were respectful to us, was careful in house, and did a great job installing the cabinets. All in all - a very good experience from start to finish.

We have a beautiful custom kitchen with inset cabinetry thanks to RS Kitchen & Bath. They also created beautiful vanity for the bathroom. Neal Smith was great to collaborate with on the design. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.

I've had Smith's Cabinet Shop do two jobs for us now (a brand new full height oven cabinet with drawers, and new door fronts and modifications to some existing cabinets), and am very well pleased with both efforts. Neal does beautiful craftsman cabinets. We had a photo of a freestanding cabinet, and hi brought it to life and securely installed it. My wife and I would highly recommend Raymond Smith's cabinet shop. Earlier this year we had a burst water pipe which ruined our existing kitchen cabinets. We began the process to find new cabinets by visiting the "big box" stores. We worked with their designers and got prices for the cabinets - material only. We would need hire a carpenter to install them. We were very fortunate to receive a recommendation on cabinets from Raymond Smith's. We called and spoke to Neal Smith. He came over to the house took pictures, made measurements and discussed preliminary designs with us. For the next step we met with Neal at their shop. Neal had converted our discussion into designs on the computer. We reviewed the initial design and made some modifications which he updated on the computer. He then explained the options for the cabinets and showed us the prices for them including installation. We found that we could have "custom made" high quality ( 3/4 inch plywood, soft close on all doors & drawers, special pull outs, super susans etc ) including installation for the same price as those at the the big box stores. We met with Neal Smith several more times to further refine the design, the hardware, the door and drawer styles, the stain and finish and the crown moldings. We got exactly what we wanted. For the installation Neal sent a crew of 4 people including the person who built the cabinets. It looked like a scene right out of " THIS OLD HOUSE ". They had all the tools and equipment. Older homes like ours are not completely " square " or " level ". No problem for the installers. They did a great job of installing the cabinets, the finish pieces, and the mouldings. They also did a good job of cleaning up. There was a small issue with one of the lazy susans. The installers pointed it out to us. It wasn't going to work the way we thought. No problem. The installers removed it and ordered a different one. Two days later one of the installers returned and installed the new one. This really confirmed our thoughts that working with a local business was a really good idea. We could not be more pleased with our new cabinets, and Raymond Smith's Cabinets.

Some of the cabinetry in our 20 year old home needed reconfiguring for the media and appliances of today. Neil Smith and crew replaced the central section of the wall to wall /floor to ceiling cabinetry in our den to accommodate currrent media components and a section of a kitchen wall cabinet to better accommodate a microwave oven. His expertise and skill from the planning stage to the construction and installation produced superb results. In both the den and kitchen the integration of the new sections is flawless. The design not only accomplished the original goals, but also included improvement in the overall utility of the sections he redid. Neil is honest, easy to work with, and highly skilled. He gets my highest recommendation, and in fact he's already working on my next project.

I visited beautiful showrooms but could not find anyone who could provide everything I wanted at an affordable price. Most would not discuss budget without visiting our house even though I had blueprints in hand. Then I found Raymond Smith's Cabinet Shop. I met with Neil Smith several times with pictures cut from magazines and Neil designed the kitchen of my dreams. I got everything I wanted, just the way I wanted it, and a few extra things I didn't know I wanted because I didn't know they existed. The workmanship is impeccable and the design is beautiful. Everyone working for this company was always polite and pleasant. Each time we parted Neil always said, "I appreciate this opportunity." One year after having our cabinets installed we contracted with Neil again to build bookcases in our home office. The bookcases perfectly match what they had done before and again, was designed from photos I cut from magazines. The price of our custom built cabinets from Raymond Smith's Cabinet Shop were equal to and sometimes better than prices we obtained from other supposedly custom built cabinet shops which really only meant combining pre-built units any way you want them. We were able to choose the wood, the thickness, the finish (which looks like fine furniture), the hardware, and the design and it was all built at the shop. The drawers are built to last a lifetime and are still working the same way they did the day they were installed.
