Cindy from sixty nine EDGE DESIGN is the best! She redesigned our primary en suite bath and transformed it into a zen spa oasis! Cindy was always extremely responsive, easy to work with and she delivered the highest quality work. You can’t ask for a better design partner than Cindy and sixty nine EDGE DESIGN!

Cin is brilliant. Her designs are exquisitely beautiful and immensely practical. She designed the renovations for our main house, guest house, and pool. She incorporated our needs, lifestyle, and budget with consideration for now and the future. She helped us create a priority list for a major overhaul of the property. Her deliverables included 3d renders, floor plans, electrical plans, and a materials list. She completed the project remotely and was incredibly easy to work with - fast response times, clear answers, and flexibility to changes. We've also come to rely on her expertise for decisions large and small. Her careful eye and thoughtful attention to detail show us how to view our spaces in new ways. She never disappoints. We will definitely use her again - we wouldn't do another remodel without her!

Cin has been amazing to work with. Her final designs and renders are truly stunning. We worked with her on our kitchen and first floor renovation design over a course of two years while deciding what to go with. After selecting a contractor and showing multiple contractors her designs, they all commented that her designs were some of the most well thought out and complete designs and renders they had ever seen. Cindy Ko was and absolute dream to work with while creating my dream kitchen. Cindy has excellent designing taste with a client centered approach. This was my first renovation and I was really nervous and had no idea where to begin or what to expect. Cindy held my hand through the entire process and worked within my budget. She did not push her ideas nor her agenda, she helped me discover what I wanted and helped me make it happen. The other bonus about working with Cindy is her flexibility. Cindy was able to work with my busy schedule and could even do work remotely. I will definitely work with Cindy with any renovation I make and have referred her to my friends. She is the best!

Cin is amazing. She helped me choose all the furniture for a new home; even though our tastes our different she successfully chose everything to my liking. With the 1 ítem I wasn’t crazy about (coffee table), she worked tirelessly to find one I liked, sending many other options until we settled on one. She is great at figuring out how to configure rooms to optimize space (several rooms are small or oddly shaped). She is incredibly responsive, always replying to questions promptly. She also helped me connect with others as needed (eg a welder to custom make a handrail). She also made a virtual computer of my home, with all the furniture she had chosen, laid out there so that I could see it prior to purchasing. I was given a couple of options on most items, at 2 price points, so that I could decide where to splurge. I’d highly recommend her to anyone.

I hired Cin for two projects over the last 18 months, the first for the design of a complete kitchen remodel and the second for designing and sourcing furniture for the adjoining living room area. I couldn’t be more thrilled with her designs, eye, speed, and the ease of working with her, even though it was all done remotely over FaceTime and email. Her design renders were invaluable during the design phase and before committing to purchases for tile, cabinets, and flooring — and when unforeseeable issues arose during construction. When my contractor discovered a load-bearing post during demo that would have thrown off the entire kitchen design (and cabinet order), Cin was able to provide an updated render within hours, showing what the space would look like if I opted to save money and not remove the post; ultimately I chose to stick with the original design and pay to have the post replaced with a structural beam, but her renders provided much-needed assurance that I was making the right choice in a tight timeframe. Throughout the entire project, she was a key, trusted asset, taking my millions of ideas and questions and transforming them into tangible renders or advice. A year later, I love everything about my kitchen and wouldn’t change a thing — a true testament to Cin’s design and everything she brought to the project. She’s thoughtful, responsive, incredibly respectful of budget and goals, and truly has a gift for design, whether it’s for a remodel or furniture. Whatever I was hoping to get out of my first request, what I actually got was a thousand times better than I hoped for. I want her to design all the rooms in my house!!

We are totally delighted with the results of our NYC apartment interior redesign. We can’t wait to use Sixty Nine Edge Design again. Cindy was able to maximize the impact of our existing layout and the best assets of our space. She used our furniture and art to transform our home and accommodate our varied lifestyle from formal entertaining to cozy family movie nights. Cindy is a great listener. She asked questions and listened carefully to our preferences. She also took into consideration our unique requests; maximizing our views, reusing our favorite pieces and protecting our art from natural light. Cindy came up with creative (my husband says brilliant) solutions where we frustrated with constraints. We don't have a foyer, our view is maximized from only one direction, and our wall lighting is off-center. This didn't pose the slightest challenge to Cindy. She sent us detailed renderings and made adjustments as we tried options out. Cindy has an expansive repertoire of styles and effects. She was able to capture the luxurious yet lived in feel that we were looking for. The results are breathtaking. Compliments have been pouring in.

Cindy is an incredibly talented, wise and thoughtful designer. When I casually mentioned that I wanted to update my 1980's New England Kitchen it was only in a matter of weeks had Cindy rendered three different architectural drawings that considered every detail that mattered in kitchen redesign. She took into account our hope to modernize our kitchen but stay within a certain budget. She gave us several ideas without ever being pushy. She's incredibly patient, passionate and creative. Cindy is meticulous, has a precise eye for detail and understands the complex nature of working with several different trades simultaneously. Her understanding of materials and electric/plumbing issues that come with the territory were incredibly helpful. She also gave us realistic timelines to expect in kitchen redesign and helped us think through parts of the process that we weren't even aware of. She's very knowledgeable about the process from start to finish and when we hired a kitchen design contractor he was beyond impressed with her drawings and ideas. Hands down, we will certainly work with Cindy in the future. She's incredible and we are in love with our new kitchen thanks to her.

It was a pleasure working with Cin during our extensive home renovation. She was thoughtful, flexible, and reassuring during the entire process. Cin designed the new floor plan which opened up our entire kitchen, dining, and living space to our view of the San Francisco Bay. She also reconfigured the bedrooms to create a beautiful and spacious master bath and closet. With her guidance, selecting finishes and materials was not an overwhelming task. She always ensured we understood the pros and cons of our choices which allowed us to make informed decisions that maximized our budget. Cin’s expertise also extended to the facade of our house. Her design updated the exterior from a dated 1960’s home to clean modern look which better reflected the changes in the interior and our style . Without a doubt, we would work with her again and can not thank her enough for all her help.

Cin is an extraordinary thinker, planner, and visionary. She quickly absorbed our goals and aesthetic and worked closely with us to create a modern home that we love. Early on, she provided 3D renderings of our space - complete with furniture - that made it easy to visualize the entire home before the construction day 1. She did the layout modifications from the big picture down to the small details. She has a sufficient understanding of engineering/architecture/trades such that we did not need an architect - we sent her drawings to a draftsperson who made the architectural plans for submission to engineering and the city permitting. Her plans passed permitting on the first try and our contractor had no complaints about her choices. Cin helped us prioritize project elements when construction bids came in. She advised on electrical & plumbing fixture selection, color schemes, furniture, and so many details. And she did the entire project remotely - without ever seeing our house in person. We are absolutely delighted with the home and Cin's work. She thought of everything. Our construction process went smoothly because we were able to make decisions quickly with her guidance. She is gentle and not pushy of her views, but we quickly learned that we were always happiest with the outcome when we went with her ideas. We will use her again.
