D and H Construction

We hired D & H construction company to install vinyl siding, gutters, demolish and rebuild our porch. We were very impressed with Mike Shapiro, the owner, and his team. They did an outstanding job. It was a great experience right from the initial meeting up to the end of the project. It was a pleasure dealing with Mr. Shapiro. He was very helpful and knowledge in putting everything together for us. He provided us with ideas and selections to help us match everything together, from the vinyl siding, trim, porch decking and railings and the screen enclosure. He made the process easy for us and we gained a lot of confidence and trusted his guidance. As it showed in the end product. Mike Shapiro has high standards and values in selecting his team. His employees are all very knowledge, professional and take pride in their work. They care about doing a great job and always went above and beyond. They showed a lot of respect for us and our property. They were always a pleasure to be around, very easy to talk to and were always happy to answer any questions we had. They were always on top of everything that needed to be done and very detailed oriented. It was nice to see how well they worked so well together and enjoyed their work. They even worked through the most trying times for contractors with all the delays because of Covid. We had a couple of delays because of products not being available. Mr. Shapiro offered other options that were available that we could have selected. But we opted to wait for the product we wanted. Once the product came in, they showed up promptly to finish the job. We were impressed on how well they handled the situation during these times. We were very happy with the results of the job from D&H Construction and their team. We would highly recommend them.

D & H Construction just completed a total revamp of our 1972 bathroom. Mike gave us a detailed quote and promised to have the shower operational within 2 weeks (this was important as it is our only full bathroom). He did it!! He also did everything that he promised on time and within budget Mike's employees and sub contractors were all very professional, showed up as promised and did a terrific job. Specifically Mike's employee (the other Mike) was amazing. His tile work (and there was lots of it) was incredible and he built a beautiful custom closet for us. He is incredibly talented, detail oriented, very neat, unobtrusive and most importantly he was great with the dog. Mike is such a nice guy that we were sorry when the job was done. We miss you Mike!! We have done business with D&H Construction for almost ten years. Every project, and there have been many, has been executed to the highest standards. We are currently embarking on new projects and I know they will be of the same high quality. We would trust no one else with our home.

D and H Construction has don many jobs in our home. The most recent was a complete kitchen renovation . Rob and Nick did an outstanding job.Every detail is perfect. They both were so considerate of us because we were without a kitchen for a few months. D and H did the construction and Design 1 did the plan and we got all materials through Design1. I highly recommend both companies. We love our new kitchen!
