Shaker Style

I purchased a morris chair, settle loveseat and coffee table from the showroom, all in cherry. There are of excellent quality and finish and competitively priced to other furniture makers in the NE area. I was so happy with these pieces that I commissioned a drop leaf table in wonderful curly maple and chairs of Steve's unique design based on classic styles. They are the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in and do not need a cushion. I am pleased with my furniture and am talking to Steve about another commissioned piece! Tim Sauerwein MIT Engineer

My husband and I engaged Shaker Style for several projects--2 king size beds, an armoire and a console/entertainment center. They did absolutely beautiful work and for about half the price of some of other companies who do high end shaker style furniture. Their showroom in Harrisville is well worth the visit and we have purchased rocking chairs and other smaller pieces from their displays, particularly taking advantage of periodic sales promotions. Cheryl is attentive and responsive as a manager and Steve is a second or third generation furniture maker who takes pride in his work and will never sacrifice quality for the sake of expediency. A fabulous team.

We ordered the drop leaf dining tables and poster bed. Every aspect of each piece was amazing. The quality of the wood, craftsmanship and finishes per request were fantastic. Customer service, timeliness and livery were flawless as well. Shaker Style was recommended to us by my sister and my daughter as an alternative to another very expensive line of handcrafted cherry furniture from New England, which we all have as well.
