Our neighbors hired Shade to install motorized, retractable screens on their porch, and the end product was so well done, and they were so happy with the result, that I had to contact Shade to see what they could do for our house. The quality of the product they use is first class. I'm sure I could have found a cheaper product (in both quality and price) but after a life of learning lessons they hard way I know that you get what you pay for. So I contracted with Shade to install retractable screens on my porch and bedroom windows. My wife gets migraines and we wanted to be able to darken the bedroom when she got them. The pandemic has interrupted supply chains and slowed projects like this down some, but Shade kept me informed and it only took two months from first contact to final install. The men that did the work were polite and professional. They left the site so cleaned up that there wasn't a scrap for me to pick up. The end results are exactly what I wanted, and the screens work like a charm. We can make the bedroom much darker during the day, and I'm sure they will help us keep the room cooler during the summer. I highly recommend Shade.

My husband and I are thrilled with our new pergola. It is very high quality, aesthetically outstanding, and operates very quietly. We can remotely open and close the roof, the lighting and ceiling fan. It visually ties beautifully together with our home and in particular our dark window frames. Gary Kulp was a complete pleasure to work with. Precise, punctual, determined to install an excellent product that would please us. He even added an extra band around the roof to disguise the motor that operates. The pergola has added so much character to our pool area. We could not be more pleased with the process and the product!

Love our new shades! We have a very nice back yard that we really enjoy but our southwest facing patio was unusable much of the year. We researched many options for shades but when Gary showed us the MagnaTrack we were sold. The difference in the design of the shades, the materials of construction and finishes are worth the little higher cost. Our install was a bit complicated because our stone is chopped limestone and has an irregular surface. Rather than just mounting them on the surface and caulking the gaps, Daniel and Renee notched the stone and recessed the track to make a beautiful finished look. We’ve enjoyed the patio in 95+ weather every evening since they were installed. Shade Outdoor was easy to deal with and very professional from the initial consult to the final cleanup. The shade that was installed was both attractive and functional. We chose a color and density that allowed us to see through the screen to the backyard while not allowing a view inside to our patio when the shade was down, The installers were courteous and highly professional, and the cost was most reasonable considering the high quality. Gary and his team installed an Acadia louvered roof with a retractable awning that was a great solution to an HOA requirement in Sun City, Georgetown, Texas. After getting ideas and estimates from several companies offering louvered roof systems, I chose Gary and his team because of the quality of the products. I originally thought about covering my entire patio with the louvered roof but a setback requirement meant we needed a different solution. The combination of a louvered roof with the retractable awning was the perfect solution. This was a new approach for Gary and his team but they determined the best way to accomplish this combination even though it took a little extra time to get the full installation completed.

Now I am outside every morning and evening without worrying about being bitten. The screens go up and down with a push of a button. I can raise one or all three at any time. Permanent screened-in patio just wasn’t for us. Now we have the versatility of having it screened or open.
