About Us

Sea Change Interiors is run by Jeanette Seabrook, a freelance interior designer based in Brighton. Jeanette offers a personal and bespoke service, from room updates to total re-designs, for commercial projects or your home. She can help with spatial design, electrical planning, selecting and sourcing fabrics, furnishings and accessories and room styling. Jeanette has worked on various styles of property, including a 17th century pub, farmhouse cottage, Victorian family homes, 70’s inspired mid century modern and new build properties . She doesn’t have a set style, but rises to the challenge of the brief, whether it’s industrial, vintage, French boudoir, contemporary stylish, cosy cottage or eclectic, to name but a few. While the end result is always different, what does come as ‘standard’ is her approach – consultative, creative and professional. Ultimately, what’s most important to Jeanette is knowing that the client is happy with the end results.

I would highly recommend Seachange interiors for any home project you may have- big or small. Jeanette is both professional and very easy to work with.. We asked her for some ideas for our living room as we really wanted to do something different with it . She discussed with us what we were looking for and she gave us several options to allow us to choose what we liked within our budget. She was very open to what we liked//disliked and came back with alternatives. The people she recommended for curtains and decorating were also every professional and did a fantastic job. We absolutely love our new room- it’s exactly want we wanted - although we didn’t really know what that was until Jeanette helped us! Can’t wait to get her back to do the picture wall for the room..

Jeanette came to help us with design and decorating ideas for our living room, to make it an inviting and comfortable space, usable for various activities. She provided lots of ideas and inspiration, as well as directing us to some very helpful resources, and by the end of our time together, left us with a much clearer idea of how we would like the space to look and function, and the next steps we need to take to make the project come together. We were very impressed with the way in which Jeanette took on board our thoughts and came up with inspiring ways to make everything work together as well as look good, without breaking the budget! The whole experience of working with Jeanette was excellent, we now feel confident about what we're aiming towards and how to get there. We have no hesitation at all in recommending her and hope to be able to use her services again for future projects! Chris

Rich and Tara

Jeanette was excellent from initial consultation to job completion. The project involved converting a top floor study into a child's bedroom, and creating a new look for our bathroom. We were delighted with how everything turned out. She was professional, responsive, quickly grasped what we were looking for, and came up with all sorts of imaginative ideas that ended up really transforming two rooms in our house.

Jeanette was very quick to respond once we contacted her, unlike others. Easy to deal with, took the time to understand us as clients and how we wanted to use the space in our kitchen/family room. End result was fab! Subsequently we have worked with Jeanette on two further projects, one the hallway and the other the Master bedroom. Very pleased with the results of both, thumbs up all round.

In the midst of a building project when I couldn't see the wood for the trees, Jeanette was extremely helpful in planning how to make the most of our space. Her creative flair and original ideas combined with a calming and sensible approach were exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend her.
