Saree created a design which reflected our vision of a transformed basement TV room space. The finished product is a warm, uncluttered, African-themed space with comfortable recliners and amazing lighting. We're looking forward to avoiding Ottawa winter in this delightful space! Busy lifestyle and difference of opinion, my wife and I reached out to Saree to help us design our family room. As this being our first experience with an interior designer we were unsure of the process and what to expect. Through our initial interactions with her we discussed our vision and agreed on a budget that she delivered within. Open communication was excellent and were made aware of any and all updates. Saree was easy to talk to during the initial meeting. She understood my want of colour in my craft room. It took a long time to get done. Covid took time away from us. Two weeks here one week there, etc. The end result was more than I expected. I have colour but mostly I have an island I can work from. Along with an ironing station, etc.

I consulted Saree on new lighting for the main floor of my home. I could tell that she had knowledge of styles and experience with lighting. She communicated in a timely fashion as the project progressed and it was completed as planned.

Saree is a very dedicated professional. She was attentive to what we wanted, walked us through our indecisiveness and was available and accessible. She was able to bring my vision and ideas to life and make my ideas look trendy. She also did her best to use some of what I had to keep us within budget. She redecorated our living area and kitchen completely. It looks beautiful , yet warm and inviting. We are pleased and will be working with her again in future.

WOW ! It felt like we had won the lottery. Chances of picking a designer from the internet & coming up with the right one were enormous but we did it. Saree Parry Design was the first company that we called and right away we knew tht Saree was the one for us. We are a retired couple and had always lived in our own house in small towns and now we were moving into a 1400 sq ft apartment in the Ottawa area. Our style has been country and beachy but this time we wanted a change to more modern . Saree took on the challenge of modernising us while incorporating our ideas and some of our furniture with a new and modern style. Saree made sure to include us in all decision making but kept us on track to reach our goal in a timely fashion. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, personality, and ability to make it happen speaks for it self. The result is outstanding and when friends and family visit we always get rave reviews. We have made a life long friend of Saree and our apartment is a lasting tribute to her ability as a designer and decorator

I started working with Saree on my kitchen remodel project last year. I was so pleased with the initial consultation that we extended the project to include most of our downstairs - flooring, furniture, appliances, wallpaper, and accessories. I am a super busy restauranteur and truth be told, I really did not have time for this project. Saree took care of EVERYTHING; she turned my vision into a reality that exceeded my expectations. Saree went out of her way to find the unique vendors and artisans to give us something special – things you will not see in other interior design. Saree is so easy to work with that I've hired her to redecorate our master bedroom. Thank you so much for taking care of every detail Saree and making our home exquisitely luxurious!

We met Saree about a year ago at one of her presentation and liked her ideas and mostly her personality right there and then. During the months to follow we had nothing but amazements with her wonderful ideas. She brought brightness in our home as she helped us redo our large entrance, living room, dining area and main bathroom. It is like a new house with a totally different and fresh look. Saree works with what you have and arranges the surroundings by lifting your home’s look without having to put walls down or to get rid of all your furniture. We choose what we wanted to keep and she gave our old stuff a new look just by changing the walls colour, adding news tables, area rugs and lamps etc. Oh, and not to forget Saree’s fun, original and somewhat wild great artistic side of her that makes her final touch very unique. . What she did on our entrance wall just stands out and is completely different that what you would have expected. The wall is now the focal point and a piece of great discussion amongst friends and family. Anyone would benefit from her expertise to give a great facelift to their home. Than you so much Saree.

Saree is a delightful lady to work with right from day one. We started on a paint consult and it was the perfect choice..i realized when the painter asked about blending..ceiling..doors..she worked with us and understood our thoughts..views..and suggested perfect colours..we were worried but they turned out great. Second consult was on custom design shelves and that worked out well on budget and time even with a small challenged which she overcome with patience and ease. Her smiling face adds a touch of personality . She understands and worked with us on our choice if furniture took some time to check it out and then suggest carpets etc. one other thing is working on budget and respecting . She works great with kidd too and understood my 10 year kid's ask perfectly. Thanks Saree for everything.

I contacted Saree to assist in choosing various pieces of art to hang that I had accumulated over the years on my travels. She quickly chose just the right paintings and pictures and suggested where they be hung. She was very attentive to my concerns and made other suggestions regarding some of my other decorating attempts. Of course, she was spot on and I must say that I have had numerous compliments on the results of her labour. Saree was a great help to us in planning a make over for our Great Room. She presented us with options that were very detailed. She also took into consideration our opinions and input and incorporated them into the general plan. Saree was very attentive to detail and colour coordinates. We believe that Saree provided us with top quality items and wanted us to be very happy with the outcome. She dealt with a damaged rug quickly and had it replaced immediately. We did go over our budget a little but we are very pleased with the outcome. Saree was very professional in all her dealings with us. We were also impressed with her subcontractors.

I had Saree advise me on colors and ideas for different projects. I am so happy with the paint colors she chose for my powder room to go with the wallpaper that I had ordered. I find the paint color compliments the tile floor and everything goes so well together. She advised me on lighting also. I had the family room and living room painted with the colors chosen by her and just love it. Saree chose the granite for my fireplace surround and I am just loving it! With an exotic name like Saree you expect creativity and energy and that is what you get! I loved working with Saree on my decorating decisions. I appreciated her organization and how she built "layers" into her recommendations (paint colours first, then furniture recommendations etc.). She chose a breathtaking kitchen counter for me which I still enjoy very much. Saree is lovely to work with and I recommend her highly.

What seemed to be an overwhelming project for me, turned into a simple solution put together by Saree Parry from Decorating Den Interiors. The issue was to make my dark over-sized furniture fit into my new down-sized house. I still really like the furniture I purchased 5 years ago, and knew it would be cheaper to make things flow instead of purchasing new pieces. Saree suggested a beautiful paint colour; subtle, but yet very exquisite wallpaper; and elegant window coverings to bring things together. I am so happy with the result! My new house looks fascinating and it feels like home!!

I hired decorator Saree Parry to help me transform my 1970's front hall and entrance way into a modern, functional space. I badly needed more closet space. Saree listened to my concerns and gave me some great ideas. She sourced some excellent products that I probably would never have found myself. She was also the project manager which got rid of a lot of time consuming phone calls and meetings regarding product delivery and trade scheduling. All in all, it was money well spent and I would have no hesitation in recommending her services in future.

Saree was delightful to work with. She designed window treatments for our living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom that we are extremely pleased to have. Saree's friendly, engaging personality made it easy for me to express my thoughts. She listened to my ideas and concerns and considered them in each of her design options. Saree was able to incorporate existing colours and designs in our home with the new treatments to the point that some of our artwork came alive. She was most professional and managed the installation of the treatments very well. My husband and I will definitely contact Saree for future home design projects.
