Sarah recently completed design and documentation for a project I started but had to step away from due to a personal life emergency. She was able to take on the additional workload and carry forward a set of design concepts without hesitation or reservation. Sarah is a dedicated designer with a wealth of additional skills which not only back up but enhance the value of her services. I have observed her thoughtful and adept at reconciling her clients needs, dreams and budgets and would recommend her without question.

We hired Sarah Reeves to support the design of a recent kitchen and living room remodel in San Francisco. She brought great design ideas to the table and was extremely detail oriented in her execution. Working with Sarah not only yields beautiful results, but she makes the process fun. We ended up with a great contemporary project, happy client, and forthcoming article in Better Homes & Gardens. I am really sad to write this, I was really happy to work with a small local business but our project turned catastrophic : the deck "SAZEN design" did for us did not pass our city inspection, for multiple failure causes. I know inspectors are sometimes very hard to please, but he pointed out how this was the worst he had seen in a while. Now we have spend a lot of money, our project is not signed and SAZEN design owner is not even returning our calls or emails.I really liked her as a person when I hired her so this has been really painful. I had high hopes hiring a small architect, this has been the most horrific experience (and I have owned and remodeled houses in USA and also in France).

I am saddened to hear you felt your expectations were not met and you did not receive the service you had hoped for. Many U.S. cities can be difficult with obtaining permits, which is why typically I would have been there for the inspection walkthrough to work hands on with the inspector. Due to the fact that you wanted to do the walkthrough yourself, the inspection was done without an experienced professional onsite to justify the work. I feel confident that I made every attempt to personally attend to, and rectify, all issues. Unfortunately, without continuing payments work is on hold. However, I am open to finishing all permits for your deck project with proper payment. Thank you and I appreciate your business.
