About Us

Prairie Woodworks was founded by Ron Skidmore and Steve Stenger in 1976. In June of 2017 the business was purchased by Ross Ambuehl, a 15 year employee, he alongside a talented group of men and women lead the company into the next generation. Our specialties include: cabinets, furniture, millwork, stairways, kitchen and bath, entertainment centers, and bars and wine cellars. From the drawing board to fabrication to finishing to complete installation, we've got you covered!
