If I could give Rembrandt Builders anything more than 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat! When my husband and I decided to build our home a few years ago in Bethesda MD, we were apprehensive for a number of reasons. We knew building our dream home would be a daunting task for reasons that are too many to list here including the obvious, problems from your builder. So, we did our homework and even before we interviewed several builders, we interviewed other homeowners who built custom homes and one of the most redundant advice we got was you need to work with a builder you trust. My experience with Rembrandt has been amazing beyond words and Rembrandt is a company I believe you can trust. I knew from the moment I sat down with the owner, Jim, that he was the one I would entrust to build our home. His knowledge and experience about custom homes is second to none and his team is quite exceptional. Christina who I work with the most on design/selections,/pricing/sourcing/admin is phenomenal. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, patience (I can be quite fickle and indecisive), and I can go on and on..I dont think she has ever gone past a few hours on email responses. But most importantly, she is so pleasant to work with and her style and taste is right on. She is so up to date with current trends but definitely knows how to stay timeless classic with her design and interior selections. She really made this home building process not just easy and painless for me but quite fun. Keith is part of the team that definitely makes things possible for you. I mean, he has the craftsmanship that can turn things into looking like a multi-million dollar was spent. I loved these guys so much not only did they build our home, they renovated our office. That's a whole another review! They did such an amazing job within our budget. I think the best thing about Rembrandt is they work with you at every level. I know there are so many builders that are so rigid with costs and change orders and they can really drive up the cost and go bonkers with your budget with every change you make, but what's amazing about Rembrandt is that they're unbelievably reasonable, transparent and they want to work with you to get what you want at minimal cost. Who does that nowadays?! I can probably go on and on about Rembrandt but bottom line, I really am thankful to have met them. Their work and service truly goes above and beyond.

We bought our Rembrandt home in December of 2014 and love it! Outstanding craftsmanship, thoughtful details, and amazing service are just three reasons why we have asked them to continue to enhance our house with special projects, including built in shelving, an entertainment center and our outdoor living space. Jim, Christina, Keith and the rest of the Rembrandt team are a joy to work with, and we love everything they have done to enhance the already amazing home they built.

Rembrandt Builders built our home in Bethesda last year. While building a home can be challenging at many levels, Jim and his crew made the process much more pleasant and smooth. We are completely satisfied with the final product. The quality of all the work has been excellent and they have been amazingly responsive when we have question or need anything addressed. We had interviewed many builders when we started and ultimately decided on Rembrandt. They are a unique builder who does not take on more projects than he can handle, has permanent employees and consistent contractors, and owns much of the equipment that is used in building a home, rather renting these. As a result, his work is quality, done on time, and is best value in the market. I would recommend Rembrandt Builders without any hesitation and would absolutely work with them again if we decide to build another home in the future.

Rembrandt builders were the most professional and hands on builders that we interviewed before we built our home. Jim and his team paid so much attention to us during and after the project. It almost felt like we were their only client. Jim and his crew always found ways to build the highest quality home without adding much to the original budget. The houses that they build are beautiful and unique. Every little detail matters, the owner Jim is always there to help guide the entire process and that really makes the difference. Our home was completed by Rembrandt Builders in 2013, and we couldn't be happier. Jim was friendly, surprisingly easy to get a hold of, and brought a wealth of valuable experience to the project. He found the lot where we built, gave a lot of practical advice when we worked with the architect to come up with the floor plan, and helped guide us through all the choices involved. We loved the kitchen & bathrooms in Rembrandt's other homes, and we think ours turned out great too. Jim & his crew were happy to work with us on special requests (for example, adding reclaimed wood beams and barn board in our family room). The project moved along at a good pace, and there were no changes to the proposed budget unless we decided to add something later. We love our new home!

Rembrandt Builders is the best! They rebuilt our 4 BR center hall colonial following the fire that destroyed our place. We were in ental housing nearby and had the amazing experience of watching the many Rembrandt craftsmen build our new house on the same 3 acre suburban lot we'd called home for many years. The awesome crew of contractors with Rembrandt not only built us a fabulous first class new home they did it all in a matter of months!
