I would not recommend this company.as the owners are not easy to work with. Very disappointed with the owners.

A tree fell on my house and I took the opportunity to upgrade my 1957 era baths and kitchen along with the other needed repairs. Nicole helped me make smart choices in design, materials, and aesthetics. She has a keen eye for details, understands budgets and makes appropriate choices. She really is great at upgrades that mesh with an older house. She is super responsive and saved me so much time and money. She helped me during a very stressful time make decisions that I love. I highly recommend her for any project.

Nicole helped me come up with a space plan for my very distressed kitchen and bathroom in my very distressed Carytown house. She also recommended various trade contractors that we ended up hiring. They all did very good work. Nicole is very professional and easy to work with.

I would give Piperbear six stars if I could! As someone who has personally managed dozens of renovations, I hired Piperbear to ease some of my burden on my most recent project. Instead of just easing that burden, it was completely lifted off my shoulders, and I could not possibly be happier with the results. In fact, I was so pleased that I advised Piperbear to charge twice as much as what I paid them, because they're worth every penny.

Great and responsive company with great ideas! I was having a hard time with my kitchen layout and she gave me 2 ideas and designs to work with! Nicole is very personable and I enjoyed our communication. I look forward to working her again!

Nicole was an amazing help with renovating our new house in the Short Pump area. We needed some design advice on colors, light fixtures, and layout. She is extremely knowledgeable and has quite an eye for detail. She is also super responsive and can recommend just about anyone for your renovation needs. Truly a pleasure to work with!

This winter Piperbear helped us with a duplex renovation in Cary Town. We are first time rental/investment property owners and bought a serious fixer upper with a practically nonexistent kitchen. We were working with super limited space (welcome to historic homes lol) and we needed someone seriously creative to design a functional layout for the kitchen & laundry room. We met with quite a few designers before starting our project- Nicole/Piperbear was the only designer we met with that just simply understood our vision and what we were trying to accomplish as not only owners but also as investors. Nicole created a design that allowed us to maximize our small space and accomplish all of our goals. Throughout the project, Nicole was SUPER proactive and organized. Always on top of things. In addition to her design skills, she is an amazing project manager. Piperbear connected us with the most amazing contractor, HVAC, plumber, electrician & granite company- all within our discussed budget. Nicole was a scheduling superstar and kept everyone organized and on track so that we could finish our project on schedule. We couldn’t have done it without Nicole/Piperbear, she is worth EVERY PENNY (and admittedly probably a lot more). Thank you for everything Piperbear, we love our new kitchen!

I was fortunate to have Piperbear work as a sub-contractor on renovating our 1895 Queen Anne in an old Richmond VA neighborhood. The scope of Piperbear work on the overall project included interior design for the addition of a new HVAC system, re-design and updates to an existing bathroom, creation of a new half bath in a tiny space, re-design of kitchen and utility areas, selection of a palette of colors for the entire home, a lighting plan and selection of lighting throughout, selection and purchase of plumbing fixtures and granite, and more. Piperbear's Nicole was attentive throughout the 4 -month project. She brought a fresh perspective to updating an older home for modern living. She had excellent planning and coordinating skills and worked extremely well with our contractor and other sub-contractors. She worked online with me nights and weekends to meet deadlines for ordering and installing new fixtures. She was on-site whenever needed to meet with contractors and to advise me or the workers. She is an excellent source of referral sources for home products and services. Overall, her services saved us time, money, and frustration on our project. Our contract with Piperbear was clear and simple, with easy to monitor milestones -- a very high level of professional service! I highly recommend Piperbear!
