Pickfords

Absolutely avoid this company, they have no respect for your belongings, house etc and have really poor customer care. They are not even Worthing of a 1 star rating but I had to do this to write this review

Pickfords provided a seamless moving experience for my elderly mother from start to finish. Samantha in the office was so helpful and patient and didn't try to encourage my mother to take on additional services that she didn't need. Terry and his team were excellent - you could really tell they had been doing the job for a long time and had the move down to a tee. They were polite, courteous and professional at all times as well as incredibly patient with my mother who was somewhat overwhelmed with the move. Would recommend highly.

I must say we were very worried when it came to picking a removal company to move our stuff from Glasgow to Australia. We searched and searched many reviews and struggled to find anyone with a perfect record of great customer experience. We then realised that we would never find a company who was amazing 100% of the time. So we went with who we felt most comfortable with, spoke to us nicely, didn't push the hard sale, gave as an accurate idea of how much space we needed in a container and of course a competitive price! Pickfords were amazing from start to finish, 8 weeks door to door, quicker than what was quoted. the guys who packed our stuff were superb, hard working and honest guys who just made us feel so much at ease! Move manager was great throughout keeping me informed at all times and answering emails and phone calls as required very promptly. When it came to Australia, allied pickfords were also first class. guys this end were great and also super helpful! yes like others it was not 100% perfect, we had two damaged chest of drawers- nothing major but pickfords are happy to cover the cost of them as they were insured and again the move manager has processed that for me very easily. If we had to do it all over again, I would go with pickfords all day long!

Efficient, helpful, professional , cheerful . No damage to any furniture or the copious amount of fine glass and china. Every item treated properly and packed carefully.

Excellent job by the men who came and moved us, very professional and carful in their packing. We have moved several times and this is by far the best company. I would certainly recommend them to anyone else.
