Perfection Floor Tile

We ordered the Terrazzo floor tile and loved the product. It was very well made, semi-rigid and snapped together easily. We found we were short for our layout and had to order two more cases. They do warn that different lot colors may not match perfectly, but this was not the case, the color and pattern were just fine with the second order. What was the problem, is that the material itself was not the same as the first order. It was very soft and pliable and did not snap in well to the original tiles, and would not stay snapped together tightly to either the first or second order. The cut outs for the tabs were not cleanly cut and in some places didn't allow it to be snapped together at all. I contacted Perfection Floor Tile directly, and sent them photos. Rob said to let it acclimate for 48 hours which we had already done. He said if this didn't work he would send would send two more cases "asap". I asked him to please do so as we had already had the new tile acclimated for 4 days. That was 3 weeks ago. I have not heard back from Rob, and we are still waiting. Due to the inconsistency of the product and poor customer service, I would avoid purchasing from this company.

I found out about these beautiful tiles through the facebook page. I contacted the admin of the account and he lead me to the stone tile series on the houzz page which were exactly what I've been looking for for my new home's living room and the kitchen area. I am very impressed with the quality I see so far and the facebook home installation videos were extremely helpful in making my decision to purchase. My wife or I will be calling this week with a few additional questions, but you have some fine people working for this company and we're looking forward to our new floors. - John

I am not here to review an installer, but to review the product itself. I ordered travertine rose floor tile for my bathroom. It just arrived today and I am disappointed in the color. It is much lighter than the tile shown. The background is grey, there is a pink hue or cast to parts of the tile, and black speckles throughout. It looks to be quality tile so I am keeping it, especially since I doubt I will find anything pinker, and I've been looking in a significant number of places. It's not bad tile, but if you are buying it for the color, the picture on the page is not at all accurate. I am attaching a picture of one of the tiles.

I decided on the HomeStyle Slate for one of our baths due to several factors.. the main one being that I have no idea what I am doing! This seemed to be the simplest to install and the best quality. I have not been disappointed. We will soon be doing the entire downstairs with either the HomeStyle Slate or Leather Look. I like that the products are recycled and recyclable, versatile, sturdy, safe for my elderly dog, EASY to install with available household tools and easily updated if necessary. I can't say enough good about Perfection Floor Tile and the Flexi-Tile products.
