Pacific Pools of Houston

The final verdict is yet to come... our pool was poured on September 23, 2017. Since then, progress has been very slow. Not much was done from October to December, even when the weather was conducive for work. The weather has been a factor in delaying this project, but only to a point. January and February weren’t kind. Nathan has great design ideas, and is a pleasant person to deal with. Kevin Harper, the owner, seems to have checked out. Lots of promises; no delivery. Not sure what’s going on, but we are really tired of nagging, asking for schedules, and getting excuses. Based on what Pacific has done in the past, we expect great things. Unfortunately the lack of communication has negatively impacted our view. I wish I had better things to say. At this rate we will be lucky to have a pool by summer. Update, April 26,2018: The project is almost complete, 7 months into it. This is not a large, complex pool design. That it has taken so long is inexcusable, and thus the poor review. To be positive on some level, the pool is unique. Although small, it has its own custom flair by way of design. The whirlpool/spa feature is interesting and functional. The general quality of work is good. At the end of the day, this project took far too long. Communication between Kevin Harper and Nathan Martens was strained. Like pulling teeth at times. I can only guess that they were too involved with other projects, and as a result, in over their heads (no pun intended). Does the pool look nice? Yes. Would I use this company again? No. If everyone did business this way, I imagine their would be a lot more medication prescribed for depression and migraines.

Custom pool to my request. Seating area with a (floating) table top for relaxing in the pool. 2 rock waterfalls for the mermaid fountains I had purchased. Around the pool he used travatine tile with rock accents. Thank you Kevin for an awesome job.

Working with Pacific Pools of Houston was a very delightful experience. All the staff were very friendly and very professional. This is the second pool they have done for us and we never had a problem. I would highly recommend them.
