The oRat team has done an incredible job for us over the past 9 years. When designing our basement home theater in both of our new homes, they had the most innovative and cool ideas for us. They were able to look at the raw room dimensions and design the perfect layout. They were so easy to work with and are very accommodating to any budget. They are knowledgeable about the most up-to-date equipment on the market and are helpful in guiding your purchase decisions, but can also work with what you may already own. They were overly patient with me with explaining (multiple times) how to work my one source remote. I would highly recommend hiring them as I will continue to use them for every future home/media need that I have. They truly are the best of the best!!

I contacted ORAT to consult on my a/v options for a new construction residential home. The team came in after move in date with no ability to pre-wire or consult with the builder. Job: - I needed to know my options with the ability to stage into the job as we determined our needs (finished basement, outdoor patio, playroom, etc) - We were looking for TV and surround sound in the family room, TV in the downstairs office, TV on the stone fireplace in the kitchen and audio throughout the entire downstairs. - Our primary concern was that we wanted the job to look clean without visible wires, components and large speakers. Outcome: - ORAT provided a full list of options (with prices) and was very helpful highlighting the pros/cons of all aspects of the job. - Very helpful in helping us constructively think about new technology, pricing and the ability to upgrade/expand as we grew more acclimated with the home. - Provided thorough proposal complete with itemized pricing and alternative suggestions - Team was prompt, friendly and efficient. - Pricing was competitive. I will use Orat in the future and would recommend them with no reservations.

ORAT outfitted two complete whole house electronic systems for our family. One in Illinois. One in Tennessee. Both systems are robust and trouble free. Their wiring work is excellent. Their programming is excellent. Their thinking is ahead of their time.

ORat are the best automation network company. I had my entire house automated. They placed the élan G system and it is amazing. From my phone or iPad I can control my entire home. They are always available and extremely responsive to Any needs we have. I strongly recommend them for automation/smart homes. I have known them for 2 1/2 years and they are like family to me. I worked with Orat on three projects on my house. Initially we selected them to plan and implement our house system which included multiple TVs, a full house sound system, intercoms, central vac, and incorporating all lighting and blinds. As with all projects like this not everything was perfect at the beginning, but it was not far off. The few glitches we had ( with TV lifts and some programming bugs) were promptly attended to and fixed professionally. They were very patient as we learned the system and willing and eager to help when we screwed things up. We recently put in a home theater and they were very helpful in choosing a budget conscious projector with an amazing picture. I would recommend them to anyone working on a large complicated project as well as smaller simpler house system improvements.

These guys are wonderful! Tom worked with our basement contractor and designed and built an amazing theater room for our family. He listened to my wish list, (which changed on a regular basis) and modified the plan to accommodate our entire family's needs . Tom's knowledge of the equipment and design made this project so easy and because he understood how important it was for me to stay within my original budget, he provided options so that I could make the right choices. We have been using the theater room for 1 year now and love it. We are extremely happy with the workmanship, quality and customer service. The follow up is fantastic and we couldn't be happier.

ORAT guys, Chris, Doug and Tom are professionals that ensure the job gets done and done right. The project was for my office and included selection of software and platform for Televisions to communicate with my employees. The project has been a raging success.
