About Us

Owner Rick Whatley has close to four decades in the Window and Door installation business and started Old West Windows and Doors over 20 years ago. Over that time our team has installed over 10,000 windows and doors and had the pleasure of meeting thousands of Calgarians. His son and co-owner Cory has been with the business almost since the beginning so you'll believe us when we say that we know windows and doors. The Old West Windows and Doors family extends past the Whatley's, that is because we hire our own in-house installation teams and do not rely on sub-contractors like other window and door businesses. This enables us to keep strict quality control in not only how we install our windows and doors but also how we treat all of our valued customers.

We were very impressed with Rick's knowledge and after evaluating three potential suppliers we chose his company - Old West Windows and Doors - to replace 11 windows in our home. Kyle and his crew did a first class professional and timely job. They took care to minimize disruptions and provided an excellent clean up. We are very satisfied with the installation and as a result of our experience can fully recommend Old West.

I hired Old West to replace the two entry doors into my home, as well as the window in my en suite bathroom. From start to finish I found all the staff to be professionals. The sales rep was very friendly and knowledge able; Shauna, with whom I worked to schedule the installation, was extremely helpful when it came to gathering information and very patient/accomodating when I had to shift my project schedule around (door & window replacement was part of a much larger renovation); and the craftsman who perfomred the istallation demonstrated the highest level of skill in their trade and were very friendly and courtious while in our home. They replace two 32" doors with 36" doors and a window in about half a day.
