N-Hance Wood Refinishing

We had our oak cabinets painted black in our kitchen and master bath, We were extremely happy with this company. All the workers were very friendly and pleasant to work with. They were all very hard working and knew their jobs well. They were very meticulous and cleaned up after themselves. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone we know who is looking to get their cabinets redone and we would definitely use them in the future for any other projects we may have. Everyone we dealt with in this company was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Also, they were reasonably priced.

I had 20+ year old IKEA birch cabinets/drawers which I loved but some were pretty weathered. The entire IKEA system was discontinued so no replacements. Cabinets and drawers themselves were fine and it seemed silly to landfill them. We stumbled upon N-Hance and they told us they could refinish the cabinets and restore their luster. We took a chance and are pleased with the results. They came in and took the drawer fronts and doors to their factory in Des Plaines where they were washed and refinished. We also elected to have the wood that was attached done. This involved taking everything out of drawers and cabinets so an opportunity for a good clean. Wed/Thurs was spent taping up the kitchen to protect it while the factory process was brought to our house. (That was fine, didn't smell or create any mess.) Friday the attached wood was done and the doors and drawer fronts re-installed. The cabinets look clean and the color is richer. I am really glad I didn't have to replace everything or even have to paint them. If you have wood you love but it needs an update is a recommended option. Much cheaper than new cabinetry. My only suggestion is, make sure the crew has you look at the work when it's completed before they leave. N-Hance was very good about sending a carpenter to reset a couple of the doors and drawers that were a bit off after I had noticed them later that day. The carpenter also went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

We were impressed with their high quality of workmanship. They were very responsive to our concerns and addressed them all. Will definitely use them again.

N-Hance were great!! It looks like I got new cabinets in my kitchen and in my bathroom. People don’t believe me when I tell them that the cabinets are painted. Their work is unbelievable. They fixed every hole in the wood, every scratch, made a few new doors for us, and left the apartment clean. Everything looks beautiful. I highly recommend them!!

NHance was fabulous from beginning to end. Tom came to our place and did the planning for us. We were having our kitchen cabinets painted from a dark wood color to white. Mark came the following week to do the preparation work and take the doors down. The rolling week, Don came with the painted doors. All three of these gentlemen were professional and knowledgeable in their trade. The cabinets look brand new. I would highly recommend NHance. You will not be disappointed.

We had our 15 year old cabinets painted, new doors and some additional cabinetry made by NHance. They all turned out beautifully.

They do an excellent job of refinishing the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The techniques and skill they have are exceptional. They are very professional and stand behind their work. After a few months I needed a few areas touched up and they did it promptly and at no charge. You won't be sorry if use use them.

I would recommend this company to any of my friends. They did a beautiful job. I gentlemen that painted the cabinets in our home was perfect. After he removed all of his covers, I could not find one place that he missed. The door, which are removed to the factory for painting, came back perfect. They tell you it will take up to five days to complete the job. Ours was finished in three and the doors were installed in the morning of the fourth day. Nice job.

N-Hance team and Lisa were awesome! Very professional from beginning to end in every way. Helpful in picking out my color to getting scheduled to getting the project done on-time. All our guests have made very positive comments and have told us that they can't tell that the cabinets are not originally that color. It's got factory finish. We had a couple of mishaps but Lisa was responsive and did all she could to make things "right". I would highly recommend this team to do your kitchen cabinet refinishing.

Our cabinets were over 20 years old but still in good shape. NHance came in and made them look brand new going from the Golden Oak to white cabinets was so refreshing and my kitchen feels like brand new. We did not feel the need to spend $14,000 on new cabinets when there was nothing wrong with them except that they looked outdated. N-Hance came in and painted the cabinets, left the wood grain on the cabinet doors as I requested, and put on soft close hinges. They look like brand new cabinets and I absolutely love them. All for a fraction of the cost for new cabinets. Highly recommend N-Hance for refinishing.

Nhance (Des Plaines, IL) has just finished a large project for me – re-dooring and refinishing all of our cabinets in the kitchen, family room, bar, and laundry room. My experience with them was excellent, all the way around. They did a wonderful job, and our cabinets have been beautifully transformed from an old, tired oak to a fresh, vibrant white. The Nhance process is far superior to simply painting the cabinets – in terms of beauty as well as durability. The finish is perfectly smooth, as they use a grain-fill process and many coats of paint. In addition to looking beautiful, the finish is very tough. I accidentally got black paint on a door – and I was able to clean it off. Our installer, Mark, was great – very talented and a perfectionist! Tom and Lisa were great to deal with as well – very customer-oriented, as they found a way to satisfy every request that I made. Overall, the Nhance team was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend the Nhance process and the Des Plaines team to anyone who wants to transform their cabinets.

Just had our kitchen cabinets N-Hanced and we are very pleased with the results. Fair price for quality workmanship. Enjoyable experience thru the whole process. Almost zero smell and dust to deal with yay! Sorry no pictures as were painting the walls now

I ultimately decided not to refinish my cabinets, because new counters and backsplash made it clear that I didn't need to change the color after all. But I did go through the whole process -- contacting and getting quotes from several contractors, selecting a contractor, and scheduling the work. From start to finish, N-Hance was the most responsive, most professional, option, and their price was competitive. I also saw an example of a refinished cabinet door that would look good in any high end kitchen. If I ever decide to go through with refinishing, I will make only one call.

They gave me a brand new kitchen at the quarter of the price. They did not do the replacement of the counter tops or the backsplash but the cabinets look amazing.

HIred this company for our 221 unit high rise luxurey apartment community. They are staining our kitchen cabinets from a light oak to a very dark more modern finish. The finish is amazing, highly recommended! (Potentially much larger job that $100k)
