Modern Kitchen Pros recently remodeled my kitchen with custom cabinets. I ordered a high gloss for the top cabinets and a textured grain match for the bottom. I am still in awe with my beautiful dream kitchen. They exceeded my expectations and I really enjoyed working with a professional team. I worked very closely with Matt while I painted what I had in mind and He was so patient and helpful throughout it all! I spoke to Matt at Modern Kitchen Pros a bunch of times while deciding what to do with my kitchen. He was so great work with and super responsive. He wound up getting me designs just from looking at my the pictures of my house on Zillow! It was super cool. His prices were also really reasonable. While we did not wind up going with his company for this renovation - we went with a very local contractor instead - I would not hesitate to recommend him and have full faith that had I chosen him, the kitchen would have been beautiful.

Beyond excellent. I trusted Modern Kitchen Pros to bring my commercial kitchen in my bakery to life and I am thrilled with the results. We now have the best looking place in the entire food court of the mall. They took my feedback and suggestions throughout the entire process but enhanced them to a different level if that makes sense, which made me feel a part of the process from start to finish. They stayed within budget which is huge for me and showed they knew their stuff by recommending materials with less cost but equal visual appeal and quality. Highly recommend these guys!

I did the research for a good IKEA kitchen installer and found Modern Kitchen Pros. I had a small job to add some cabinets and custom shelving to update our laundry area. Tara got us worked into the schedule quickly. Matt did an excellent job on the install. He was on time and brought all the right tools and equipment. He provided good ideas to improve quality, effective use of materials and trim installation for this retrofit. I was very pleased to have found Modern Kitchen Pros. I would recommend them and definitely use them again. Thanks for a job well done.

I have been a landlord for over 25 years so I have had many dealings with contractors. I recently did a complete remodel in one of my units. That included all vanities alng with the kitchen. MKP is....I would say tops in professionalism, value,great products and a variety of selection coupled with awesome suggestions regarding color schemes. I must also express that job was done on time with attention to detail and under budget! To top it I was able to increase my rent by 20% and was able to get a tenant committed 2 days after completion!

Matt & Nia stepped in to rescue a kitchen remodel that had gone way over time and budget and needed to be finished in five days. Both of them were extremely efficient, polite and hardworking. We were doing a "Custom" Ikea kitchen with custom door and drawer fronts which all had to be individually drilled, and they handled this added complication with elan. Not only that, but they worked on Father's Day in 100F++ heat to finish the job on time - can't recommend them highly enough!

Matt is fantastic--his care and meticulousness really matter, and he doesn't rest until everything meets his standards (which, honestly, might even be a little higher than mine). He has deep knowledge about product lines and great idea suggestions to boot, so, when our first thought about a cabinet layout didn't fit the way we had imagined it, he helped us rethink in a way that works much better than our plan. His communication is great, as well, keeping us posted for delivery dates, scheduled work days, etc. I would absolutely recommend him, and if I had another kitchen, I'd hire him/Modern Kitchen Pros again!

This company has the worst customer service ever and no follow up! I initially had communication with Tara to arrange an estimate on a kitchen remodel. At first she communicated a lot. Then she dropped off the face of the Earth. Literally crickets. They claim to be cheaper than Ikea but they are not at all!! When Matt came out to give an estimate there were all these "possible" situations that may happen when remodeling which would lead to "possible" higher costs. This place is a big scam. I followed up with Tara for 5 weeks trying to get a detailed estimate on the remodel after Matt came out. 5 weeks! Matt advised I would have the estimate emailed in a few days! At first Tara said she would have it to me ASAP. Then after 3 weeks no response, after 4 weeks no response, after 5 weeks I gave up.

Unfortunately this is a businesses relationship that wasn't going to work from the beginning. I (Matt) had gone out to the property to asses the work that needed to be done. Based upon a few things mentioned to me from Rene, it was apparent that our services were not going to be the right fit for her needs.

We, also, never claimed or ever claim to be "cheaper" than IKEA, or anyone else for that matter.

Our "lack of followup" was do to us already confirming with Rene that her requests could not be met by our company.

Also, on the thought of contingency costs... I told Rene what I tell all of our clients. That things can happen during a remodel that are often times unexpected. It's wise for any and every homeowner to have a contingency budget "just in case" anything is found during construction.

After demo, the most common things found are spotty and out of code electrical, bad plumbing, mold, termites, etc... This was just me doing my due diligence to inform and educate Rene on what can potentially happen during a renovation.

Not sure what else we were supposed to do for this client, nor do I even know how to rectify a business agreement that never existed.

NOTE: This complaint was also reported to the BBB, which after hearing the entire story, dismissed it as an illegitimate complaint and was removed for our profile with the BBB immediately.

My contractor tried to install my kitchen, but after a full day's work had accomplished little. I found Modern Kitchen Pro online and spoke with Matt. He and his partner Nia came to the rescue the next day. They installed all the cabinetry in the kitchen, bathroom, and bar area. They were very patient with any changes I requested. They were a complete delight to work with, did an outstanding job, and I have no hesitation giving the the highest recommendation.
