About Us

As former New England contractors and business owners, with over 35 years experience, we have seen and done it all. From small single window or door installations, to complete custom homes. After opening our business in 1977 we grew our two man band in a pickup truck to one of the largest residential building and kitchen and bathroom remodeling businesses from Boston, MA to Providence, RI. Building and remodeling between 200-250 homes annually, 5 star rating with Angie’s List and numerous industry, community, and manufacturer awards. We have always kept the focus on the customer with personal service from the point sale, then through the design process, and on to completion, thereby making this a very rewarding and gratifying business model. Since moving our business to Florida, we have kept our mission intact. We will provide Southwest Florida with the best experience when it comes to any of the services we provide. Our experience with RX has been horrible!! Although some of the work that was done was done very well... the rest of the process has been very disappointing. Starting from the sales job done by Mike Edwards, to the disastrous project management. Nothing resembled what we were sold about the process, communications time frame etc... I mean truly a 180 degree's from what was sold. We went weeks (one time 4 weeks) where there NOTHING done and phone calls. emails, texts to our project manager ( Eric) would with no response until we had to show our frustration. I signed with them July 10, 2019. the work started September 10, 2019 and here we are today February 19, 2020 and the still have not finished. The owner told me 3 weeks ago he would take care of the small things that still need to be done so we could do the final walk through. Nothing in the 3 weeks since...but that the ways it been form the start. Please think twice if you are considering RX!!!

Just finished my kitchen renovation with RX. Their team aims to please from the designer expertise of Alyssa, to the contractors Desmond, Eric and his crew Jason and Dane. Their estimate was on target. It took 8 1/2 weeks to complete and this was a totally gutted kitchen. Everyone who sees it tells me it looks like a kitchen out of a designer magazine. I now have my dream kitchen and owe it all to Rx Renovation Xperts.

Contracted with RX to remodel inside of 40 year old house after a bad experience with another contractor on outside work. Meet Alyssa by accident while looking at granite for kitchen. She set up meeting with Mike, Roger and Paul the next few days. We discussed what we wanted and received a quote and time line in just a few days. Alyssa set up 3 past clients to meet with and were able to see their work. The clients had nothing but good things to say about the professionals of RX. We proceeded with the project with them. Vacated the house and I was on the job almost everyday to watch the progress, I was not going to have another bad experience. I saw in short order that was not going to happen. The crew was on the job everyday, Eric was by daily to check on the progress. Jimmy the foreman treated this like it was his house. He and the crew exhibited true professionalism in their work, their quality, work ethic, and politeness was excellent. As with all old houses you run into unexpected problems, Mike was always quick to communicate with me the problem and the solution so we were able to move on. The total experience with RX was excellent. From the design with Mike, Roger and Paul to the picking out of granite, backsplash and tile with Alyssa to working with Jimmy and the crew these folks were a pleasure to work with and are true professionals.

Whole house remodeling project. Promised in 8 weeks, completed ahead of schedule. This was a total makeover of our 30 year old home. The design and buying services were especially noteworthy. The relationship the designer has with local suppliers proved to be extraordinarily helpful. Difficult to obtain items were provided in an expeditious manner. This was a very high-end project with a corresponding cost. Make no mistake, we absolutely got what we paid for. The most impressive aspect was their customer service. They ALWAYS returned our calls. There was a crew on site every day working on our project. The single day there wasn't someone at the site, their director of operations called me to explain the circumstances for their absence. Again and again, they impressed me with their desire that I was satisfied with the project. Would I recommend them? I already have and look forward to seeing their crew at our neighbor's house. Less

Amazing group of people.....Love our new master bath remodel! Mike and Roger were most professional upon our first meeting thru the entire project....we had a tight deadline of only 16 days ...Jason and Andrew were able to fully complete this project in 10 days...their tile work was really impressive, the attention to detail exceptional....thank you to Alyssa, who was instrumental in not only assisting with tile and fixture selections but followed up with me through the entire process....this company went above and beyond any I have ever worked with in the past...simply, "THE BEST "
