Disagree with this statement. No cooperation at all!!!!! When my husband was in the hospital for 3 days, then our well needed work and to add more stress my husband lost his job. (May 12th is when he lost his job and we are officially coming up on 2 months still unemployed) We called Ellen on May 12th regarding our hurdles and asked if we could get a refund of our $30,450.00 or see if Rudy could work with what he had. On May 14th she asked for a date that we could get together to discuss the kitchen. I immediately responded that we are pretty open. On May 18th I had to follow back up with her about this requested meeting. She finally responded stating that Saturday, May 22nd, would work. We hated to do this, but felt we had no other option given our constant road blocks and were happy to see they wanted to discuss our kitchen. I’m guessing that my impression of discussion is completely different from theirs….. Instead we were appalled when Rudy came in loudly stating that we had a contract with him and that he turned down other jobs to take ours since we lived just down the street. Then he had the audacity to look at my husband and quip, “GO OUT AND GET A JOB!” At no time was there any professional customer service or potential brainstorming to work with what we had already paid. When I asked if we could focus on that, I was told our kitchen would look like crap!!!!! THEN, I was told to come up with a design for our kitchen and to call them when I had one…. Design is not part of my expertise….so I reached out for recommendations on next door. Found a wonderful person who was very helpful but stated we needed to know just what has been done by Rudy so we can know our starting point….. this request did not go over well at all with Ellen. She then insisted on getting my husbands cell phone as she wanted to deal with him. You know…the man currently LOOKING FOR A JOB! I declined her request but after numerous demands I finally gave it to her. Has my husband gotten any calls on his cell phone?????? ONE! From Rudy. And the message was, Ellen told me to call you” I could give more information, but safe to say we are still with no money back in our pockets and no cooperation from these people who claim to be professionals. At this point I don’t think I would trust them to do a quality job for us. Scammers maybe, but far cry from great customer service…..

We needed new cabinets for years but had never undertaken a renovation before and it seemed overwhelming. When we met with Rudy and Ellen to discuss the project, it became immediately apparent that things would go smoothly and at the end we would have sturdy beautiful cabinets. Along the way some other changes were made, new granite and new appliances, and Ellen and Rudy were so helpful and knowledgeable when choosing new things. Rudy is a Master Craftsman who takes pride in his work and loves precision which results in beautiful workmanship. We love our new cabinets, granite and appliances and would definitely recommend Kitchen Beautiful to anyone looking to update their kitchen.

The transitional kitchen on the Right is mine. I have been calling Ellen for about a year to come fix two of the doors. I haven’t hear from her or Rudy. That is why I’m reviewing this business. Both Rudy and Ellen came to take photos and never saw them again. This was a very pricey project and I had to beg them to come and fix things. He couldn’t work well with the builder, electrician or designer. Horrible service.

My kitchen was built by a master craftsman. All my wife and I knew is that we wanted a beautiful kitchen. Ellen and Rudy guided us as if ours was their kitchen. Hand built in a local workshop, there is nothing better. When my wife wanted to add a pantry it was not a problem. Rudy just took some measurements and we had a new pantry. Anytime we had a question Ellen was there to guide us. If you want the best quality craftsmanship this is it. They are a pleasure to work with.

Rudy is an excellent "old world" cabinet maker. His attention to details is incredible. He works with your ideas and translates them into an architectural masterpiece. He is very cognizant of your budget and works to maximize the dollars spent . Ellen is such an asset. She is always researching appliances ,stone and other materials to help in the design process. She learns your likes and dislikes very quickly and is very respectful of your time .

We did over 50 jobs together, there are one off the best companies I worked with in a long time. great job, would recommend to any family member.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ellen and Rudy for many years, providing them with the hand drawn renderings that they need to present the project overview to their clients. Rudy is a top-notch craftsman and his attention to the details is meticulous. He brings authentic, old world charm to every project. Ellen is a master at coordinating, managing and pulling everything together in a very professional manner.

We would recommend Kitchen Beautiful to everyone! We had two kitchens and a mudroom renovated by Rudy over 5 years ago and still love the rooms. Rudy has a great eye for quality, aesthetics and excellent craftsmanship. Allowing Rudy some leeway created a kitchen that I could not have imagined. And Ellen was so knowledgeable and efficient with ordering all the items (from cabinetry to knobs) to complete our kitchen. If we need another project to be done, we are definitely using Kitchen Beautiful again. Thank you Ellen and Rudy!

We love the kitchen that Rudy and Ellen at Kitchen Beautiful built for us. They also built custom cabinets for our laundry and bathrooms. Rudy gave us great design ideas that really opened up possibilities we could not imagine, and he also solved quite a number of technical challenges that required very creative design solutions. For example, our house contractor made the windows in the bathroom bigger than we expected, and the result is that the vanity design would no longer fit. Rather than reworking either the vanity or the windows, Rudy suggested that the vanity counter become the window sill, and it worked out great! He had quite a challenge getting the right color "espresso" finish on some of our woodwork, and he trialed something like 50 samples until he got exactly the color we wanted, making the whole process painless for us and the end result perfect. Ellen helped us in selecting appliances, sinks, faucets, etc. and gave us many great suggestions. The concept drawings that Rudy did were extremely helpful in enabling us to visualize the space and tweak the design. He stuck with the schedule, and more often than not he was awaiting for our general contractor to get done, not the other way around. The quality of the workmanship and installation is terrific, definitely a first class job. He stood by his product, and quickly took care of a couple of minor issues post-installation. The custom cabinets mean we are really maximizing the usable potential of our kitchen. We especially like his design for the woodwork that covers our range hood, which is the highlight of the kitchen. And the nice touches like corbels really make the room look finished. He built us a giant island, nearly 16 feet long, which is perfect for seating as well as our primary work area. Everyone who visits us comments on how lovely our kitchen is.
