Earlier this year, I hired House Dreamers to consult on selecting the best paint colors for my walls, cabinetry, light fixtures and accessories for my kitchen and main bathroom. I struggled to come up with a color scheme on my own and decided to contact Michelle for her expertise in these areas. Michelle scheduled an onsite visit in which she reviewed the existing spaces and provided recommendations for the appropriate paint colors and materials for my kitchen and bathroom. Michelle selected the best options available, and kept me on track and on budget. My kitchen and bathroom look amazing and all of my guests love the new look! Michelle re-arranged my furnishings and accessories to create a warm and inviting living space for me to enjoy. It was a complete and total transformation. Michelle definitely has an eye for details, she removed some items and re-used specific items to create a space that I love. I am enjoying my Condo so much more now and all my friends and relatives are ‘Wowed’ when they visit. Most people think that my condo looks like a show room, 'no kidding'. I am very pleased with the quality of the custom artwork. I love the way Michelle mixed different colours and I am very pleased with the final outcome. What I loved the most was the fact that Michelle took me through the whole process. She sent me pictures of the painting and updated me how the work was progressing. She asked for my feedback throughout the creative process and provided updates on what was happening. Michelle was wonderful to work with. I had struggled for years with trying to reduce the clutter in my home because I simply never knew where to start. Michelle was extremely professional yet friendly, helped me breakdown a very daunting task into small easy to manage steps. She provided accountability and an objective perspective when there we tough decisions to make. I ended up with 14 bags of donations to give away and am absolutely in love with my home now. I recently had the pleasure of working with Michelle at House Dreamers for a colour consultation, layout and décor ideas. I needed to update our basement to tie in with the rest of our home and also convert part of it into a more inspiring home office environment, on a budget. Interior Design Consulting Services I moved into my new home recently and consulted “House Dreamer” for interior decorating services. This included a floor plan, colour consultation, selection and sourcing of furniture and accessories within a specified budget. Michelle, owner and principal designer, worked tirelessly with me introducing various design concepts, textures, colours and different options for the layout of the rooms. She gave me the freedom to pick and select what would work best for me, within the recommendations Michelle provided. Most importantly, Michelle led me through the design process and provided me with the clear direction and vision of what I was looking for to design a home that I love. It was a pleasure working with Michelle who went above and beyond to ensure that I was headed in the right direction. For example, Michelle accompanied me in purchasing and selecting the best light fixtures for my home. She continued to introduce new sources of furniture and accessories, whenever she saw something that would be of interest to me. I have learned so much from Michelle and now have confidence in purchasing what she has put together in a booklet with all the relevant information, with specific shopping lists for each room, furniture layouts and 3 D designs of each space. Michelle provided me with a softcopy of the 3D images of all the design work that was done. The 3D, 2D and blueprint views were extremely helpful to envision the end result of what the designed spaces would look like and provided me with the best way to layout the furniture. Michelle is very easy to work with, extremely dedicated and creative, and I would highly recommend her for your home decorating needs.
