Melody Smith Interiors has been designing for the Florida community for over 15 years. Melody lives out her passion for design and the residents of Palm Beach by creating spaces that significantly improve the lives of the people who live in them. Additionally, Melody Smith Interiors takes pride in local design involvement through community non profit organizations like the Red Cross Showhouse and Ann Norton Sculpture Garden Festival of Trees. We provide design services for Space Planning, Finish Selection, Visual Editing and Interior Design. Melody decorated my almost totally renovated condo beautifully. I am very happy with the colors and the overall feel of this space now. I get compliments from everyone who visits. She is easy to work with, has very tasteful suggestions and follows up on every question in a timely manner.

What Melody has done in our home is timeless and elegant. My husband and I are opposites who can never agree and Melody’s ability to listen, then to offer design options that both my husband and I love equally is something we have never experienced before. Melody inherited a bankrupt contractor situation as the result of us trying to do it ourselves. She bailed us out and introduced us to tradesmen who were true pros. She managed the project to completion, turning a bad situation into a positive one. The outcome exceeded our expectations. Melody is delightful to work with and we have embarked on another project together!

The Housing League

As a professional builder developer I really depend on the interior design team to make my projects a success. I recently retained Melody to stage a custom Vero Beach Island home. Melody did an amazing job of blending different themes into a very cool but subtle beach chic vibe. Not only did she exceed our expectations she provided such a high level of service that it made the whole process easy and seamless. The budget was optimistic, she understood and accomplished and/or exceeded every goal. I highly recommend her and I will be using her for our future projects

Melody Smith continues to dazzle me with her timeless, elegant designs. Her efficient use of space, particularly in kitchens and baths, coupled with her interesting color palettes, create a restful and relaxing backdrop which every member of the family can appreciate. If you've never visited the annually inspiring Palm Beach Red Cross Show Houses, do yourself a favor and go. It's no wonder year after year they continue to invite Melody to be a guest designer...she outdoes herself in curiously challenging venues. On a personal note, Melody is a lovely person and a pleasure with whom to work. She's a listener and creates around the needs and lifestyle of her clients and her attention to detail is unmatched. Recommend!!

Melody first helped us renovate our kitchen after a water disaster. She listened to our budget concerns and figured out our style, such as it is, when we weren't sure what we liked. But she was right on. She has since helped us in other rooms, always respecting our budget and pace. She's a fun person too! Always makes it easy. Now we're finishing the living room.

Melody created a master bathroom that reflected my tastes and elevated them to a level sophistication that was beyond my imagination. She was able to keep the project within my budget limitations, smartly spotting where I could splurge - a lightweight freestanding tub - and where it was not necessary to do so - a simple line of black tile to make the subway tile pop added polish without extravagant expense. My favorite touch - an unexpected light fixture that gave the room a sense of our artistic character. I would never have found or even thought of this twist if she hadn't discovered it - and still it was up to me. She included it among three fixture possibilities. We were in sync.

I took a chance being from Nashville, Tn and picked Melody from her website to give me some ideas for our condo in Jupiter, Florida. I wanted a professional eye to weigh in after I had already chosen many furniture basics. We had a very congenial relationship from the start and ended up doing far more to give our space a custom feel. We couldn't be happier. Melody is a pleasure and has become more than a decorator. She's a dear friend. Highly recommend!

Melody is wonderful to work with! She is very talented and has a great eye. She was able to guide us through the build out of our new space while she was great about taking our taste and ideas into account she also encouraged us to step out of our comfort zone and we LOVE the outcome more then we ever imagined! We could not be happier with our new home thanks to Melody! We would use her again and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a designer.
