We inherited my wife's mothers house and she had some big ideas for remodeling it. Mel was able to take those and make them work mostly within the the original footprint. He was creative but practical and we could not be more pleased.

Working with Mel Dias Designs over the course of a year-long project was a wonderful experience. My husband and I renovated an older home. Mel recognized our desire to respect the tradition of the house while adjusting the layout and design to reflect our needs and personalities. He was always available to listen, strategize, troubleshoot and re-draw. We especially appreciated Mel's ability to evaluate a design issue from multiple vantage points.
