Nantucket based interior designer, real estate advisor, and branding innovator Melanie Gowen, resides on Nantucket and also spends time in her hometown area of Chevy Chase / Washington, DC. With a degree in Business Marketing from Cornell University, a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from Cornell University, and design studies at Lorenzo de'Medici Institute in Florence, Italy, Melanie's experience and passion for both business and design have allowed her to establish her own multidisciplinary firm. She acquires design inspiration from her travels abroad, but always looks to her origins, her childhood summers going to coastal Maine, and the beauty of Nantucket's ocean setting for creative influence.
