Based in Edinburgh, Mark is a contemporary Scottish artist with an eye for all things kitsch, bold, sexy and sassy. Drawing from a love affair with pop culture and a lifelong passion for visual art, Mark’s work is an explosion of glossy pop imagery, often characterised by a vivid and fluorescent colour palette. Through his larger than life pieces of artwork, Mark invites the viewer on a trippy journey into his manic pop world, a world saturated with sensual pop motifs and ‘gaudy-chic’ statement pieces. When not devising his latest piece of art or endlessly scrolling through Instagram, Mark can be found out and about in Edinburgh’s bars and clubs, socialising with and documenting the people that inspire much of his work.
