Marcia Crumley Fine Art

I have been collecting art for many years and now own several of Marcia's pieces. Her work brings such joy through her use of bold and vibrant colors. The "poppy series" is just beautiful as are her winter moonlight and tree scenes which invoke a sense of serenity. She has recently started using golf leaf in some of her pieces and I find that this adds an extra dimension to her use of color. I absolutely love her work! Carolyn Walsh

I have 3 of Marcia's paintings in my home and I wish I had more. Her colors run the spectrum from serene to vivid, quiet to rambunctious. Her subject matter takes me back to nature. Each painting lights up the room it is in. I'm running out of wall space but I have my eye on one of her latest works. I can always make room for beautiful art.

I have purchased two paintings from Marcia Crumley Fine Art. When browsing various artists my eye is always drawn to Marcia's paintings. The colors are vivid and mix well. The composition is balanced and the overall effect is wonderful.

We love our "October Afternoon" piece - the white birches against the brilliant background colors. Marcia does very interesting, unique takes on landscapes of New England scenery.

I am a fan of Marcia's style and colors. Her paintings are show stoppers.....you can't stop looking at how she pairs colors. Marcia's work is alive and engages one!

I came across Marcias Phoenix Nebula painting when looking for something to place in my living room. I hadn't even considered to use an actual painting, but hers was exactly what I was looking for. It was one of those "this one and nothing else" moments. The Phoenix Nebula is a really beautiful piece of art. I especially like its vibrant, expressive range of colors. The added pieces of metal leaf fit in perfectly and give the painting an almost three dimensional feeling. I'm impressed each time I look at it and couldn't be happier with it! Packaging was done with great care, so that the painting endured its long journey from the US to Germany without any damage. Marcia is a very pleasant person to communicate with, helpful and kind. A second painting (this time a personal request) is already in planning.

Marcia Crumley was amazing. I love my painting. It arrived quickly and was wrapped and packaged so that it arrived safely without any damage. The piece was framed beautifully by Marcia and I am thrilled with the piece. It is my first real purchase of a of art and we could not be happier. Marcia was excellent to work with and communicated with us every step of the way.

I have followed Marcia’s work as an artist for many years. During this period I have purchased several paintings. I have plans to purchase more particularly if a piece on birch trees becomes available. Her work is inspired by her own interest in nature and indeed her work transports one to that place she has so thoughtfully evoked. I have in my dining room a painting of a small island covered densely in fir trees on ancient rock. As I sit at my dining room table, also used as a work place, I am reminded of Maine. In the distance are two shores again densely covered by trees with the light of the dawning day gently descending upon sea and shore. Marcia captures this light in its many forms. I find Marcia’s painting lyrical. It is also much more. Each has its own particular expression with sweeping changes in color and composition. My collection all relates to nature which gives repose to a harried existence. I recommend Marcia’s art not only for its expression as art but for its message of tranquility

I've purchased three of Marcia Crumley's paintings (so far!), two for our home, and one as a housewarming gift for our daughter. If we can find more wall space, I will cheerfully buy more! Marcia is a gifted artist with an amazing range. Given her talent, her work is also an exceptional value. It's always a pleasure to attend her gallery shows, which showcase her wonderful, varied palette and remarkable breadth. I highly recommend her work and encourage others to buy her art.

I own two pieces by Marcia and I love them both so much. My favorite thing about all of Marcia's art, is the vivid use of colors and the fluidity of her strokes. Her interpretation of nature is unique. It's hard to explain, but to me she stirs memories of instantaneous feelings by carefully choosing her subjects and using color to exaggerate the specific mood and atmosphere. Each one of her works somehow feels relatable, or perhaps sympathetic is a better word. They evoke memories and inspire dreaming in the most lucid way.

Marcia's creative studio is located in my building and I have the unique opportunity to watch her work. Her masterful strokes and color choices are inspirational to me. I have purchased her work for my clients and also rented her works for staging projects.

My husband and I purchased a painting from Marcia a few months ago after seeing her work at the Charlestown Open Studios in December 2012. Not only does Marcia do beautiful and unique work, but she was a pleasure to work with. We weren't sure if the painting would be the right size for our wall, so she allowed us to take it home and try it out for a couple of days. Needless to say we loved it in our home and purchased it. I would recommend Marcia's work to anyone who is looking for unique and affordable works of art. I should add that my husband and I both work in the arts, so we can be very picky.
